I love the food here every time! The alfredo I had the other day blew my mind away and I don’t usually like alfredo sauce either. Every time I grab some lunch from there in my work break/after gym I am never disappointed.

Staying at the Taj we were feeling peckish. After a good breakfast, we wanted something small to see us through till the evening. The FLM which is just round the corner, gave us a good choice of food and we choose a sandwich and cake to take back to our room.
The price is very reasonable and beats Greggs any day of the week.

Love the concept of only taking what you need - pay by weight. Enjoy the vairety of affordable options - even sushi available! Only negative is the use of styrofoam boxes. Otherwise - really enjoyed the food / experience.

BRILLIANT ….every sort of food you could wish for….and so cheap. Fish n chips £2.5 Calamari and chips £3, burgers £3 …SUshi , PIZZAS salad bars…such a range..Deli…fast food …everything.WHAT A FIND

Food Lover's offers a GREAT on-the-go, passing-through lunching space. Note that the noon meal is the best prepared time to go. Evening offerings are good but extremely limited, so plan your stop for the late-morning, midday hours, and you'll get the most for the money. Prices are very good; food is fresh, and limited groceries adds to the convenience of the stop.

We came to the Food Lover's Market several times during our stay in Cape Town. The market had a great selection of food and it was easy to stock up for self-catering. Our only complaint was that we couldn't find any paper towels. There is a fast food area inside the market where you can get pizza, burgers, fish, etc. The muesli in the bulk section was great!

Great location in the middle of downtown. If you are craving a full breakfast of quiche, pancakes, eggs, and bacon, come here and fill your own plate. They also have buffet style for lunch, too. Go at the right time to get the freshest stuff. It's a good way to try different SA foods. They keep it pretty clean and it reminds me a lot of Whole Foods. They also make fresh juices in the market, and I think fresh pizza too. It's worth a visit especially if you have limited time.

This is in St George's Mall, opposite the Holiday Inn Express. It has a shop which sells great pies, sandwiches, fruit etc and also a café. Great place to pop in for quality snacks. You can also make up your own platter of salads or hot foods. There are Waitrose signs in the foodhall. There is also a coffee shop.

Excellent choices, good quality and central location. I personally liked the eastern food bazaar more (more Indian bang for the buck) but this is a good & safe option for visitors.
