제가 살면서 먹어본 파스타 중에 최고였습니다. 케이프타운 방문하시면 무조건 Seelan에서 Al Farouk 드세요. 정말 맛있어요. 핵맛 존맛 꿀맛 짱! The best pasta i have had in my life. Would love to go back to cape town just to eat Al Farouk

I have eaten at Seelan at least 4 times while in Cape Town. The location on the Wharf is wonderful. There are usually 8-12 of us and they are always accommodating. They assign one waiter to take care of us and whomever it is always...More

Situated at the V&A Waterfront. We went on Sunday a hot summers day.... The view was beautiful and the seafood platter we shared was really out of this world!

Seelan’s is our spot for lamb curry in Cape Town that reminds of you of home. But this is not just a curry spot - everything is good and the Mussels is also highly recommended. But the cherry on top of the Seelan’s experience is...More

I rated you guys unfairly: I recently rated your restaurant (From a local), a One, on TripAdvisor and now I regret it. I'm so sorry, I was pissed off and treated you unfairly. I just messaged TripAdvisor asking them to remove it but, they say it takes 30 days. Here is my honest review: Out of 5: Music: Beautiful, lounge type of music, not to loud. Ambiance - 5 Setting is in a beautiful harbour with Azure blue seas (Please remember this is arguably the most expensive real estate on the continent). So, the pricing would be higher than the rest of Cape Town or Johannesburg. Service - 5 stars - Awesome older gentleman that was caring and very attentive.. Manager when we complained - 10 out of 5 , she handled it beautifully and removed the dish we didn't like and didn't charge us for it. I get 0 out of 5 for previously complaining without context. If you are a local: Remember the setting is prime real estate, probably the most expensive on our continent, so, dont expect to pay cheap Kalk Bay prices!! Anyway, apologies again. We had a friend from Switzerland that went to your place the next day and she thought the pricing was quite reasonable. And she is living of unemployment benefits! Euro versus Rand is a bummer. As soon as TripAdvisor removes my rating I'll give you a fair one.

At Seelan, you are treated to a relaxed yet vibrant atmosphere that brings a slice of the Mediterranean to the Cape coast. The restaurant is inspired by the languid dining style of the South of France and recreates the joie de vivre (joy of life) of popular French restaurants. Guests can relax in contemporary décor and enjoy sweeping views of the V&A Waterfront. The restaurant exudes a natural air of charm, reflecting the harbour in front of which it is situated. The menu is inspired by the flavours of Europe and features a wide variety of authentic cuisine alongside an outstanding wine menu, including Seelan’s very own house wine, which is made locally.
