Never disappointed with the flavors. However, I noticed that the portion of the Spanish prawns has been significantly reduced.

Nice views (when the blinds are up!), good food but ruined by an overbearing owner poking her nose into and TRYING to control everything. We felt sorry for the chef and the waiting staff who were doing a great job.
Good evening PaulJH55. We are sorry to hear that you did not appreciate our hands-on business approach. We have owners who are physically present and work within the restaurant management system and our service and food service levels are upheld by doing so.
Stopped in Blouberg to catchup with a friend. We had excellent attentive service. Ordered the fish and chips - excellent. The fish was fresh and the chips amazingly crisp and fluffy inside. Reasonable priced, great view.
We came for a late lunch and for your lovely cocktails ,as we were sitting downstairs we were served by Stina as we ordered our first round of Mai tai's and bowls the waitress brought us the bill before we haven't had our second sip...of the cocktails. In shock we asked her if we can see the supervisor and the respond from her was " he was in a meeting " we felt like we were chased .That was the worst service we have ever received in our lives. No attention and hospitality .SHOCKINGMore
I had a very fresh piece of grilled hake. A generous portion and perfectly prepared. Looking forward to going back. Great views of the beachfront and Table Mountain.
I find it difficult to understand why a restaurant with stunning sea views would seat customers behind dirty plastic blinds. We were in an ally between the indoor seating and the windows and it was very narrow, unpleasant and cold. We asked to be moved...and our waiter/restaurant turned a deaf ear despite a better table being available. My husband ordered Seared Tuna (expensive) , which was cooked correctly but served on a blop of mash with hints of a sauce on top. My calamari was oily and chips mediocre, served with a small bowl of tartar sauce. Not a garnishing in sight. The spartan tables with a basket of cutlery and paper serviettes as only decor, didn't contribute positively either. A very disappointing Sunday lunch and will certainly not return.More
Good day AudreyH. We appreciate your feedback and acknowledge that despite regular cleaning of the blinds, they were in need of a hard deep clean, which has been arranged. You were seated on the ocean-facing balcony area which is a favourite and sought-after seating area...More
Booked a table for 6 people and confirmed late arrival by telephone. When we arrived told by manager on duty we didn’t have a booking and would have to wait! Asked for the person we had booked with and we’re told she was on lunch...(3:45pm in the afternoon). Needless to say we went to the restaurant next door and won’t be back to catch 22More
Good day Grant. We are aware of the incident and can assure you this was purely a matter of human error and miscommunication. Yes, the woman who you spoke to for your reservation was on her lunch break at the time. This is standard protocol...More
The fish was disappointing, but the vegetables and salad were good. Service was average. The restaurant closes quite early.More
Hi Gail. Thank you very much for your feedback. We are not sure which fish you had at the time of your visit, but please be advised that if ever you feel the quality of food or service is not to standard, if brought to...More
Eva and the rest of the staff were amazing, the food was fantastic and the range of drinks was awesome. Great value too. Thoroughly recommended.
The overall experience was just amazing, the Hostess Sinazo made sure everything went swiftly and our Waiter picked up from where she left off. The whole ambiance of the place is inviting and the views are jaw dropping
Hi Nomad. Apologies for the delay in reply, but thank you so much for the positive feedback of our floor staff! We are thrilled you enjoyed!
Thank Goodness you're on our doorstep! So we can keep on coming back again & again. My latest and, always to be repeated ,starter choice: the Prawn Poppers! Sublime! Patagonian calamari , yes! There is nothing on their menu that I wont eat, its all...just too good! And as for the gin cocktails, well, go taste 'em yourself!More
JustJules thank you so much for the lovely feedback that has us smiling from ear to ear! We so look forward to continuing to welcome you back to try more of our menu and cocktails!
5 stars for the food & service!!!! Overall, it's one star less because of allowing a booking with kids & an infant only to be informed by the manager to quiet the children as other customers had left their children home..SMH! Left an awful taste...to what would have been a lovely experience. For anyone seeking amazing food & service and a stunning view, Catch22 is it!! But don't take the kids...DON'T DO IT! It's not family friendly! I just wish they'd have advised that it's not family friendly when we booked; I think it'd have been an otherwise excellent experience.More
Good day Waciana. Thank you so very much for your honest feedback. We appreciate that you enjoyed our food and service. With response to not being child-friendly, we most definitely love to welcome little ones and even have a specially curated kids menu, however as...More
Where land and sea meets on a plate, OH and more. Lovely and delicious meals, great service with friendly staff. Location is 100% and you get great value for money. Must admit there is something for everyone on the menu, sushi, salad , seafood, meat...and childrens menu. Tempting cocktails, and desserts your lips would LOVE. You will leave smiling!!More
Hi 979arnee. Thank you so much for the visit and fin-tastic feedback! We can't wait to welcome you back to taste more of the menu!
This restaurant has great views of CapeTown. It also has a wide menu with very good food. The service was also very good. The only thing that detracted from a very good evening was the excessive noise. This made it very difficult to hold a...conversation.More
Hi Mervyn. Thank you so much for your feedback! We do our best to ensure our music is at a level which creates a 'vibe' without overpowering conversation, however we do understand that on busy nights with many conversations the acoustics can play havoc. We...More
Good service levels and excellent food. We had fish but the outstanding item on the menu was their prawn poppers. Offers real value for money. Good location near the beach and in an area that has plenty of parking.
Hi D3173CVsteveb! Thank you so much for the review. We are thrilled you tried and enjoyed our signature prawn poppers! We hope you'll visit again soon to try some of the new items on our winter menu. (Prawn Poppers are still on the menu, promise!)
