Came with friends and stayed 3 hours. Good service and good Mexican food. Fajitas and tacos enjoyed by all 8 in our party. Prices reasonable and a decent selection of tequila. The craft ale was ok. They had a beer topped with a margarita which was actually really good even if the concept seems bizarre. Try it. You'll enjoy it.

Friendly staff, delicious food. My partner was not so keen on the food but we both enjoyed a couple of cocktails so he also left happy.

The perfect spot to meet up with good friends and enjoy delicious food and amazing drinks, is located right in the middle of Cape Town, with a buzz all night long. From the food to drinks to the vibe and even patrons, this place screams chilled out Mexican. Everyone is having a good time with a bucket full of ice... More

Delight for the taste buds, all meals were very fresh and tasty. We would definitely go back. A little off the main Street (Kloof), which made it more quiet.

We visited this Fat Cactus hearing that they offered a drinks happy hour special. Upon arrival the resturant was fully decorated and in theme which added to the jolly atmosphere. I had the sliders which to my taste was rather bland however, the frozen margaritas are absolutely amazing! I tasted every single flavour that evening. I would definitely go back... More

My wife and I had a disappointing evening on Sunday 15 January, which was a pity as we had been looking forward to a very fun, tequila-drinking, margarita-downing, tacos-munching night. I am not sure if this is always the case, but the service was atrocious. Apparently (so our very inattentive waitress informed us) they were a staff member down. Perhaps... More

We have been there 3 times now. Twice with kids (lazy Sunday) and once with group of mates (bustling Friday night). The food and service is really exceptional (highly recommended) and great value for money. The portions are quite big but very tasty. The frozen margarita's are delicious. Can't wait for another visit.

Very helpful staff on a relaxed and young environment. Good food with a varied menu and effective service. Busy and animated environment. Recommended for a casual dinning for someone that like a vibrating atmosphere.
