Popped in for a quick bite after having spent a few hours touring the aquarium. Service was friendly and swift. The Rooibos tea was flavoursome and the toasted chicken & mayo sandwiches scrumptious. We so enjoyed the golden crispy chips with softer insides...yummy. From our...table close to the back entrance we had a lovely view of the harbour and its luxurious yachts.More

We visited this café twice, and frankly I'm surprised at some of the poor reviews. The first time was in the early evening after we'd arrived in Cape Town. We ordered a seafood salad and the grilled fish along with tabbouleh. The amount of food...was massive and delicious. We couldn't eat it all, and the staff boxed up our leftovers and we had it for lunch while we were out the following day. It was still very fresh and delicious. Overall we felt it was good value. On the return visit, I only wanted a snack while my husband went for the bouillabaisse. We were pressed for time and staff were very accommodating. The location on the Waterfront is lovely, overlooking a jetty where seals bask. What's not to like?More

Food is absolutely shocking. We just came here because our toddler gravitated toward the play area. Next time we'll steer clear.

Went there with my 6 year old daughter after the visit to the aquarium. The food was ridiculously over priced...R45 for kiddies chicken nuggets and chips. 4 burnt greasy chicken nuggets and a small amount of chips. Such a pity as it is a great...spot that could be doing so well with having the seal deck right outside and walk ins from the aquarium. Next time I would rather walk a little further and go to Quay Four.More

We visited the Two Oceans Aquarium and decided to have lunch at the Cafe. I chose the Free range half chicken at R120. I can't remember what it's accompaniment is supposed to be. I told the waiter that I would like chips with it. After...a very long wait it came with chips and potatos and a bit of salad. The chicken was tough and still raw around the thigh and drumstick. I showed this to the waiter - end of story. I just ate around the raw parts using my hands. The others did not comment on their food. I will definitely not go back thereMore

We arrived more than 15 minutes ago. Nobody came to serve us... Eventually, I went inside to order cold drinks. I was handed two cans... no glasses, no straws and told "you can go and pay there". I paid... and had to ask for straws......R 36.00 for two 330ml cold drinks and they could not even offer a glass to drink it out of... or even straws... They should be ashamed of themselves... all they are there for it to rip tourists off and I as a Capetonian do not approve. Still not a waiter in sight...More

We stopped her by chance and had breakfast. The server was very nice but not very attentive. The food was lacluster. We had to return 1 dish for something else. Thankfully all our other dining experiences were outstanding so you can't win them all.
