Very tasty sandwich, but very slow service, we wait over an hour for our sandwichs, but my salmon and avocado sandwich was really special, all my family loved the food and drinks.

I stopped in at the markets on Saturday and found this lovely little place. Great selection of fresh sandwiches and wraps and breakfast options. European feel. Attentive friendly staff especially Ronald. Would come again

Deli is their program. Very delicate arrangements for different breakfasts. Home made bread and pastries as well.

The breakfast options all looked delicious and I loved the smashed Salmon. Portions sizes were large. Very quaint!

I've eaten here twice while shopping at the Old Biscuit Mill. They have a great selection of Salads & Sandwiches. I had the Chicken Salad and it came in a large bowl. Every ingredient tasted fresh. While they don't serve alcohol they suggest you go next door to OpenWine where you can get beer or wine. I had good service. It is a calm, relaxing environment with fresh, well prepared food. A good lunch place!

A lovely intimate cafe in the Biscuit Mill courtyard , I visit here often to work and sit down to breakfast or lunch, the ingredients are fresh and the dishes always delicious and beautifully presented. I look really forward to the creative daily specials and shopping the new local deli products. The staff are friendly and attentive and I always look forward to returning.

Based on a recommendation to visit the old Biscuit Mill, We walked around and decided on lunch at Saucisse - we sat down at a long wooden table and bench, not more than 10 other guest were at other tables....we waited , we chatted...no waiter not even an acknowledgment that we were there. We saw another guest get up to go inside the Deli to get a waiters attention, So one of us got up to do the same, we had to fetch our own menus,,,,then waited, an elderly person among us we tried to get a seat inside but found it to be stuffy and rather warm inside, asked if we could move to a softer seat, since non were assisted us , we finally got a waiter to give us a cushion which we fetched ourselves...now 45 minutes since we arrived and although they were now aware of us Still no one came to take our order....we decided to leave and go to REDEMPTION FOR THE BEST BURGERS AND SERVICE IN THE COMPLEX. One of us thought to at least bring the concern to the manager or a waiters attention....YES YES WE KNOW YOU OUTSIDE WHAT CAN WE GIVE YOU TO EAT....was the reply!!!! How a Service award was given ti this place in 2017 by Trip Adviser no body knows! It should come down!!! AS SAID WE WERE NOT THE ONLY TABLE WITH A SERVICE OR RATHER NO SERVICE ISSUE. Since our visit on Monday the 25th we too in discussion came to know the quality of the over priced food is fare to mediocre Rather sad as we currently struggle to get tourist let alone locals support our small businesses enough.

We went here on Monday 25 February. Sat there for +-8min without anyone acknowledging us. I then went inside and asked if I had to order inside & was told that a waitron would bring us menus Waited another 5 min went back inside collected menus. Another 6min still no service. Went back in and asked waitron if he served where we were sitting. He told me did but I am still waiting. In the end I went and spoke to the cashier inside who then wanted to serve us. But we had had enough of waiting and left . I don’t know who gave them the award for excellence in 2017 Would not recommend this place .

Just stopped for cake and coffee - coffee tasted like instant. Presentation of cakes, non existent - slice of cake slapped onto a white plate - not even given cake forks. For a 'boutique deli', we expected some finesse.

One of the greatest spots in Cape Town. Food is excellent, the nice folk who work there, a great place to supply coffee to too. Gets super busy on a Saturday and most week days. I heard ye can buy bags of fine organic coffee, teas, chef specialty hot sauces and other great kitchen aids too. Ye gotta come down the step and meet Bruno’s crew if it’s the last thing ye ever do. :)

What a great spot hidden in the Old Biscuit Mill Woodstock. Great atmosphere and lots of space at the table to conduct business. The food was great too. Will definitely be back.

By far the best cheeses we've had in a very long time... combined with so fresh bread and some condiments and we were in food heaven! If only we'd had a few more hours to spend there eating... next time!

We had an amazing breakfast at Saucisse. The staff was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, the service was friendly and expedient. We are going back today for our last breakfast in Cape Town on this trip.
