What a delicious and well priced lunch. The cozy and funky atmosphere coupled with the beautiful artworks and great service makes it little gem of Cape Town, not to miss. The owner is warm and charismatic just like his restaurant... I strongly recommend the lamb...curry, I’ll definitely be going back for another.More

This modest cafe is an absolute gem of a place. It has a compact and interesting menu and serves beautiful food made with thoughtful - and perfectly fresh - ingredients. Everything - condiments, sauces and desserts - are made on premises from scratch. It is...casual dining and food is served up fresh and quick as a sort of neighborhoody place. Decor is pleasant, and the atmosphere is clean and comfortable. What really spoke to me was that it is a small place that seems quite modest in its claims - it is not trying to be high end fancy place - but completely under promises and over delivers. I was also touched that the proprietor named it after his late mother. Staff are very friendly and you will be made welcome here.More

We loved our meal and whole dining experience at Cafe Zor. 4 American ladies came here in Sept 2019 and enjoyed talking to Zain about his passion for running and cooking. Everyone who worked there was gracious and friendly, which is nice when you're from...out of town. Totally pleasant experience and we'd recommend this small restaurant. Loved that Zain played vinyl records!More

Small family run restaurant in Bo Kaap. Great for true home cooking with love and care. I had the Aunty Zor’s breakfast... really was spicy and delicious. Stunning music and great coffee. Will certainly return... great service and good food.

We stopped here our very first morning in Cape Town. There was a great breakfast special for R50 that included coffee, so you know that's a deal! The owner spent half the time we were there talking to us about the place, his concept, the...area and CT - it felt like having a meal with a friend. Friendly staff and good service. You should check it out if your near Bo-Kaap.More

Had a lovely breakfast at this quaint spot in Bokaap. The friendly host and staff add a great vibe to the place. Great food and service as well as excellent light music adds to the charm. Worthwhile if you are looking for for a Halaal...establishment in the Bokaap area. Within walking distance of the Hilton hotel and central to many other hotels in Cape Town. Also a short Uber drive from the Waterfront.More

Great coffee, flavorful food, spotlessly clean, warm and friendly service: Glen and his team have created a “must visit” attraction in the Bo Kaap. The music in the background is gentle and creates a pleasant vibe to enjoy a light meal. Try the shakshuka, it...is tasty and made with care. Glen supports local artists and artisan food suppliers, ploughing back into the community. Cafe Zor is open from 07:00 making it a convenient spot for a coffee on the commute into town.More

Bo-Kaap is one of the most beautiful neighbourhoods in the world but is threatened by gentrification and commercialization. So it’s awesome to see a local place like this open up. Glen is a terrific host and his food is excellent, at least judging by my...cappuccino and blueberry flapjacks. Wifi is free and I will definitely be back! The cafe is off the main tourist strip in Bo-Kaap but is well worth checking out if you want to switch up your City Bowl breakfast routine. And it’s 100% halaal!More

Cycled along contour paths on Table Mountain & paused for amazing breakfast at Cafe Zor. Glen is an amazing host, the breakfast and atmosphere was beautiful. Not often you get to select vinyl music from a collection & play it yourself like a real DJ....Except, no scratching🙂More
