We enjoyed a pleasant evening at the Greek Fisherman. The setting is attractive & lively, the food was very good and well-presented and the service courteous, attentive, friendly and efficient . Walter, our waiter, was delightful.

A group of us ate lunch here and the restaurant was quite busy/popular with locals. So so cleàrly doing something right. The food was average, nothing to write home about but the service (our waiter was Godfrey) was prompt, courteous and with good humour.

Great place with an excellent view. I love the Greek food and what a better place than right on the water front area in Cape Town. We have been there a couple of times with excellent service each time. Love the food and drinks!

Why does this space still allow me to write if this restaurant site is supposedly closed. Please see if there are other unpublished reviews since this place is still thriving at the V&A Watefront

Take a seat and get a glorious view of Table Mountain while you enjoy seafood and meats grilled over open charcoals. Here at the Greek Fisherman, we are proud of our roots, so expect traditional Greek and Mediterranean dishes. But, we also believe in moving with the times, so we've added a modern twist to our otherwise classic cuisine. With our recently-renovated restaurant, you'll see what we mean by "modern with a twist". So, bring your friends, bring the whole family! And share freshly-made Mediterranean breads, accompanied by generous helpings of laughter and a magnificent sunset... come share the Greek Fisherman experience!
