I am a dessert person and I find desserts in most South African restaurants not satisfying. The dessert sampler from this place is a pleasant surprise: ice cream, brownie, chocolate. Hmm... it was quite a lot for two but worth the calories : )

This is the place to go for music, food and fun. Just go and enjoy the friendly staff and an african meal. It is not the best kitchen I have tried, but it is Ok. I will go back for the ambience and service ;-)

I have had lunch at Mama Africa twice. The athmosphere is nice and the African food is great, but service has unfortunately been veeery slow.
