That's a long time I wanted to do the Nr1 brunch in Cape Town and I was not disappointed. The atmosphere is perfect - The courtyard is the perfect venue and the jazz music played was great. There is a wide selection of food, from...breackfast to lunch and salty to sweet. The glass of bubbly offered at the arrival was nice as well. Great experience that I recommend.More

Super bar for both eats and drinks. When the sun is shining sit out on the balcony overlooking the ocean and the paragliders coming in to land right outside on the green area. The food here is always very good and we always find that...one meal is sufficient for the two of us. With a bottle of wine what could be better? In the evenings we were usually inside and found the staff to be great fun.More

We attended one of their Friday night wine and food pairing evenings. All that I can say is EXCELLENT. More food than you can eat. Very informative and entertaining evening. A must try

For afternoon sundowners it’s definitely the place to be. The views and the sun set is spectacular. Service is slow so if you’re in a hurry it’s not going to happen, way to many clients and not enough staff to go around. However, the strawberry...daiquiri and the mojitos are terrific.More

Lovely way to spend a Sunday morning for coffee and scones but the service was terrible. After initial service, our scones came 30 mins after the coffee. We sat for another hour after finishinig with no one clearing our table, we asked 4 times 3...different waiters for bill and glass of water. Eventually went inside while there were 4 waiters standing around - another waiter came from the other side to do our bill! I bring to attention of the reception staff. Such a pity.....More

Just fantastic food and staff, love it. We left the hotel we were using every morning and headed here for coffee, then back for lunch and again for dinner. Can't say more than everything we ate was fabulous. My husband is a steak man and...said his 'blue' Ribeyes were the best he'd had for years, ditto the Mussels.More

The waitress left me with a menu and then disappeared never to be seen again until I was ready to make payment after I'd got up to place an order and organised my own service.

Went as a foursome. It is spacious, simply decorated and elegant. Menus were promptly presented and drinks ordered. The menu is compact but there is something for everyone. I chose the Springbok fillet which was melt in the mouth wonderful. Others also enjoyed their meals....Portions are on the small side, with limited veg. Prices are slightly higher than average. Service was polite and efficient.More

Can't remember the price but it's quite reasonable. You will need to book about eight weeks in advance. The brunches are VERY popular.
