30 Years on and Giovanni's still remains the best deli in Cape Town. It is crammed with delights from around the world, has an excellent well-stocked deli and great selection of prepared foods to take home. Consistently fresh, delicious food, attentive service, vibey and always busy.

If you like the Mediterranean food or you miss any middle eastern food, go ahead, buy the stuff that you will not find any other place in Cape Town! The quality is also more than the best. It is unique.
Was in Giovanni for eat in supper. The eat in area is v small and quite basic....high stools and counters....but the food is wow. Huge selection of really tasty food and v reasonable prices. Great take out options available too....
it has really a flair of italian there. the coffee tastes brillant and the bagels and sandwiches are great. we loved it there having our morning coffee.
