Mediocre food. Prawns tasted like they had been cooked & then re-heated so they were actually overcooked. Mussels were small and tough. There are much better places to eat in Cape Town.

The restaurant offers a large courtyard, centered around a fountain for al fresco dining. They offer fresh seafood and authentic Greek cuisine operating since 1992. You can taste the flavors of the Mediterranean with charcoal grills, tender Calamari, prawns, sardines, and Kingklip. I enjoyed my...meal and service.More
Delicious food great ambiance and friendly service. The roasted lamb was delicious as were their beef skewers . Their baklava was the perfect end to a great meal
With lovely outdoor seating in the heat of summer, this experience was very pleasant. The food was not excellent but was still one for the books. If you are looking for a halal friendly restaurant that serves up some mean Greek food, then this isn't...a bad place to start.More
The worst place to eat food. My food was cold, the portion was small for the price paid and the staff’s attitude and energy was incredibly unprofessional. The manager took a long time getting my refund to me and I was interrogated with why I...wanted a refund, when I clearly stated that my food was cold. I would NOT recommend this restaurant at all.More
Incredible, authentic Greek food for cheap money. We had lunch with drinks and only $22.00 USD. The service was perfect. The outdoor atmosphere was an A. The location was great to walk around Camps Bay and to Clifton Beach. The mussels with feta cheese is...a must and the gyros are a must. I would highly recommend. A do not miss while in Cape Town.More
Spectacular! From my earlier posts it’s not a secret that I frequent this fine restaurant whenever I visit CT. This authentic Greek restaurant serves the finest Greek food in a lovely setting and never fails to please.
We went to the Greek Fisherman on a beautiful day, sat in the lovely courtyard and had the most amazing vegetarian moussaka. The staff were super friendly and had the most amazing atmosphere! Would definitely recommend going for a lovely lunch and to just sit...the in the beautiful courtyard feels like being in a hidden oasis !More
Fabulous sticky slow cooked lamb! Lovely crispy zucchini - what a combo! Sat on a gentle, autumn afternoon next to the trickling fountain and had a superb long lunch. Highly recommended!
We went today the second time to the restaurant. The first time we had the line fish and it tasted like it was prepared when it was still frozen. We gave it another chance because it could have been a bad day and we really...like the outside seating. Today we had starters and chicken souvlaki. It tasted old, was flavourless and overpriced. I do not understand where all the positive reviews come from. The Greek stand in Moyo Market has better food.More
Dinner was delicious and the service was great - would recommend the line fish of the day and sirloin fillet. Mondli was a very thoughtful waiter who made sure everything was up to scratch!
We enjoyed sitting outdoors in the lovely courtyard enjoying perfectly prepared beef souvlaki and perfectly grilled lamb chops. We enjoyed chatting with the kitchen manager who circulated amongst the guests. Our server, Mondli was efficient, friendly and knowledgeable about the items on the menu. We...learned his name means taking care of people in Zulu and he sure took good care of us. In all, a fabulous experience.More
I brought my parents here and it was their favourite place they ate in Cape Town - great fresh fish cooked simply and great service - Mondli was so attentive, friendly and made the whole experience so easy. Would recommend to all!
Lovely ambiance and great location in Sea Point. Good choice for vegetarians and the platter allows you to sample their food on one plate. Great fire - we went in the winter and both meat and vege food was nicely plated. Good choice for families...too.More
The seaf food platter was mouth-watering! The calming tunes in the background and the courtyard with all its ambience, left us with and out-of-country experience. Felt like we were in mini Greece for a while! Gency our waiter and manager, Eddy, was warm and welcoming,...made us feel so at home. Forever memorable!More
