Enjoyed 3 fabulous breakfasts and one dinner in the elegant restaurant with great views and personable staff with excellent service. Classy. Delicious food. Excellent presentation. Tried my first tender and well-sauced springbok and the beef filet was good as well. Top choice in the area.

This was a real gem of a restaurant to find in Cape Town. Generally food throughout Cape Town is faultless but the signal adds a different degree and I would classify it has fine dining. The staff looked after us attentively and the selection of...food and wine were excellent, if I ever return this is one place I will eat in again and probably even stay in the hotel.More

As a vegan with a wheat allergy finding places to eat let alone places with amazing food is a challenge, If you are fortunate enough to be in Cape Town and want some exceptional vegan and non vegan food come to Signal, even if not...staying at the hotel, you will not be disappointed. The staff are super attentive and friendly and the chef goes above and beyond to understand the food you like and accommodate dietary restrictions. The entire meal was amazing and they went out of their way to ensure I had exceptional desserts and end of meal treats that were (I think even better) as good as my omni husband. I would travel to South Africa just to eat here! Thank you for the amazing meals and memories- Tatiana, Alvezo and Chef made it an amazing stay!More

We were staying at the Cape Grace Hotel which had recently reopened. We had 5 lovely breakfasts and 3 evening meals and none was other than excellent. The menu selection was very good considering the limitations of low volume of tourists due to COVID and...each meal was very tasty and very well presented. Service was exception and friendly - special, thanks to all the waiting staff. COVID precautions were of the highest level with excellent separation from other diners. Would highly recommend especially if staying at the hotel or in the nearby area.More

Had an enjoyable dinner here as well as three very good breakfasts. We loved both our Shellfish Broth and Minted Tomato & Beetroot Salad dinner appetizers. Our Bobotie Spiced Springbok was our favorite dinner entrée. Our server was very professional and friendly. The atmosphere at...dinner is warm (ideal for conversation or a romantic evening) and the light shines in brightly through the windows at breakfast. The potato rosti, truffle-scented mushrooms & soft poached eggs for breakfast is worth trying. Check out my photos for more details.More

Visited for lunch with my wife. As regular visitors from the UK we hadn't been for over a year but it was too long a wait. The ambience, service and food quality were excellent. We had a table overlooking the marina. The food was superb...from starter to sweet with fishcakes and soup for starters, the prawn/chicken curry and Tuna for mains and the brownie and fruit platter for sweet. They were all great and we thoroughly enjoyed. We will undoubtedly return on our next visit.More

A classy environment serving exquisite food. Service top drawer. Attentive but not intrusive. Cheeseboard one of the best we have tasted. Chicken liver parfait also was amazing. The combinations delivered on the plate were surprising and beautifully crafted. Beautiful ambiance and now A treasured memory....Hard to find but it is in the grace hotel.More

After a business meeting in one of the Cape Grace boardrooms (with a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, nuts, pastries and tarts) we headed to their restaurant for lunch. Almost everyone tried something different. I opted for the Roasted Garlic Risotto which was absolutely amazing....The Wagyu Burger was beautifully presented and enjoyed (though it was a bit on the dry side according to my colleague). Another hit was the Club Sandwich - a massive portion for anyone with a healthy appetite. Other meals ordered included the Curried Cauliflower, Sesame Seared Tuna (that looked amazing!) and Pan Fried Fish. Service was very attentive and I like the fact that they have round tables (we were 7pax) so that conversation could flow without obstruction. All in all a superb experience.More

This restaurant is special and we would write tomes about it if there was space and time. But it is fantastic in every respect. We suggest the Sunday Brunch which opens at 11:30. This establishment serves up excellence itself!
