Our family liked this restaurant so much while we were staying at the Cape Grace that we had breakfast, lunch and dinner each day. And this was despite the hotel being very open in recommending other restaurants! It's a lovely setting, the staff are excellent...More

Outstanding service from our waiter Stephan. His bright cheer and recommendations made the dinner very enjoyable. Excellent presentation of gourmet presentations. The chef is extremely well regarded. I had the springbok based on Stephen's recommendation and it was outstanding. So was the crime brûlée that...More

So we are here for our 31st birthday meal while on honeymoon. Slightly frumpy for our age group - it is quite formal - but food was faultless, and wine list was outstanding. What made this place truly memorable was the sommelier, Wonga,a young chap who...More

I've been here for all sorts of occasions, and it never disappoints. Only superlatives do for this restaurant. No, it is not cheap, but brilliant value for money. European visitors can actually not believe they get such outstanding food with such outstanding service for such...More

Usually, when you stay at a hotel, you eat at the hotel restaurant when you don't want to expend the energy to venture out. Our experience was the opposite with Cape Grace and the Signal Restaurant......We ate dinner at the Signal on our first night...More

We had dinner and breakfast here several times during our stay. Staff was excellent and food was prepared to liking. Prices a little higher than on the VA waterfront but atmosphere and location made it worthwhile.

We had an amazing dinner at Signal. The food, service and ambiance was incredible. We chose a South African wine--our server asked if we were celebrating a special occasion and suggested instead a superior (incredible--his last bottle) wine that was less expensive than our initial...More

With panoramic views of Signal Hill, Signal Restaurant provides a welcome setting on the water's edge. The menu is a unique combination of flavours incorporating influences from the many cultures that called upon this region in days gone by. The aged yellowwood furniture juxtaposed with crisp white linen, all skillfully positioned in the glow of the eccentric hand-crafted chandeliers sets the atmosphere for a new level of hip hotel dining.
