As part of the Cape Grace hotel we found the service and food to be of world class standards. We so many fabulous restaurants in the area the bar is high, and Signal's lived up to the challenge. The staff were knowledgeable, offered great wine...More

Excellent service in a stunning, sumptuous space, but I expected a lot more of the food, which is hugely overpriced. Our bill came to R3000 for 3 people - and none of us had desert. My seafood starter was excellent - I had the roasted...More

Three of us ate there last night. Almost R3000 later we left a bit disappointed. The highlights were actually the starters. My butter curry risotto was excellent with a wonderful range of flavours and a delicious sauce. It was a reasonable portion, but almost R200...More

One doesn't usually expect a lot from a hotel restaurant...Signal earns highest marks for service and delicious food! Our server was friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a shellfish broth starter, pan fried local fish and beef filet. All cooked perfectly!

We stayed at Cape Grace so ate in the restaurant several times. We had dinner there our second night. The food and service were outstanding. We had an abundant buffer and hot breakfast there each morning. Josh is a fine manager.

Description
With panoramic views of Signal Hill, Signal Restaurant provides a welcome setting on the water's edge. The menu is a unique combination of flavours incorporating influences from the many cultures that called upon this region in days gone by. The aged yellowwood furniture juxtaposed with crisp white linen, all skillfully positioned in the glow of the eccentric hand-crafted chandeliers sets the atmosphere for a new level of hip hotel dining.
