We had two special dishes-
1. Highly recommend the prawn pizza
The pizza was superb
The border was just the right depth and cooked to crispy bread perfection
The prawns were abundant and tasty
2. The prawns main course was delicious perfectly prepared cleaned and...cooked and it was described as having been the best prawns everMore
Not only is the view of camps bay beach amazing but the service prosper gave us at the Surf shack.. We had a sea food platter and a pizza with a few cocktails, will definitely recommend this resturant at my hotel.

The surfshack is approximately 9 kms/5 miles from the centre of Cape Town in Camps Bay.
We went to the restaurant last weekend whilst SA was in Level 3 lockdown and they were very good at ensuring safety, with hand sanitiser and 2m distancing.
The...service was good and the waiters friendly.
We ordered an avo and rocket pizza which was good but we had to pay extra for the fresh rocket, which was wrong and a salad which was good.
Although the food is good, it is expensive.More
Surf shack offers the classic beach view restaurant feeling. You could easily think you are in Miami Beach or somewhere in California. Nice buzz and professional service, although as a family you notice that you are not placed front row even if they were free......sad but I guess that is to expect
Pizzas were really good and so was the burger. Although my daughter tells me that the "sexy sauce" was too spicy in her taste, so maybe a watch out for that if you have a sensitive tongue. Otherwise, a safe bet for a lunch on the beach.More

We came here twice during our 5 days in CT. Great food, great service and great location to,watch the sunset. The oysters with lemon grass were amazing, so was the cured salmon appetizer. Everything we had here was great and very reasonably
Had lunch here 3 times in 4 days..
Could literally order everything on the menu.
Had the steak day 1 - perfect
Had the fish day 2 - perfect
Had the chicken day 3 - perfect
Our little girl has allergies and Brian was...double, double attentive and reassuring...proper looked after her!
