Seafood restaurant has you pick the fresh fish from a case, and then grills it with choice of sides. (And, has decent sushi bar too) Just delicious all around. Friendly atmosphere, partial view Camps Bay. Good service. Easy to see why it's won TripAdvisor awards a couple times. Higher price by S African standards but very cheap for USD holders.

Overhyped . Overpriced . Rushed . Poor service from disinterested staff . Be warned . Overall very disappointed.

After being recommended to The Codfather and being fish/seafood lovers our hotel booked us a table here. On arrival no booking found but they fitted us in. We quite like the style of service where you choose your fish and then it is weighed and cooked for you as we have had this in Dubai. Unfortunately when our platter of... More

Unpretentious, unassuming and hidden away, this place is an amazing place to eat if you like grilled seafood. It's a fish market concept where you are guided through a great variety of fish and shellfish to choose from. We had a selection of fish (Mahi Mahi, swordfish, King prawns, calamari) all grilled with a light dusting of cajun spice and... More

Amazing experience. Not much to look at from the outside but dont be fooled. Super food displayed so that you can choose and then cooked to taste. You need to book way ahead. Dont order too much but sample bit by bit.Try sushi as a taster. Its all so good

you have to book up to get in here as it is always busy. Food is excellent and if you like sushi you will be satisfied. you pick your own fish and the price is calculated on weight. A must if you like fish

I am talking about the Blue Marlin. We had a piece pan fried to perfection that went really well with just salt and lemon. Of course we also dipped some in garlic and butter lemon sauce but to taste the natural flavour of this fish, I think keeping it simple is better.

What an absolutely wonderful eating experience. You choose what fish you want to eat and it is cooked to perfection and served by waiters who know what they are talking about. Would highly recommend.

This restaurant may not look much from the outside but it is amazing. You get to choose your seafood straight from the cabinet and it arrives shortly afterwards and cooked to perfection. We chose Langustines, King Prawns, Butter Fish, Calimari and Swordfish and couldnt fault any of it!

Good stop for fresh Sea food, service was good and all in all friendly with good food. Just very busy and noisy. Not a good place for a nice romantic dinner
