It seems odd finding a place of this quality in a shopping centre but once your inside the restaurant it's beautifully laid out and very well furnished. We both had beef (chateaubriand and steak) and pudding and several glasses of house wine (the Cab Sauv was really good) and can't find fault with any of it. The service was excellent and it was great value.

My wife and I tried out Hussar Grill’s Tuesday Date Night special.
Starter, bottle of wine & mains selection or
Bottle of wine, mains & a dessert selection per person.
Both of these options included a Chocolate martini (delicious by the way).
We were given the best seat in the house (booth) and were served by the loveliest of waitrons, Jeanine. Jeanine knew how to read the room with different guests and was so humble and helpful for us ‘ Date night’ noobs (newcomers).
Bowl of olives and crisps called our name as we were seated. The place was 3/4 full by 6pm.
Amazing class, vibe and excellent quality in service, food & the music playlist.
We’re picky when it comes to food & drink (naturally enjoy the finer things) and we enjoyed every single item served. I upgraded my steak to 300g for a few Rands more.
I will say this, the steak was under seasoned (bland) yet tasty and understandable for those who like to season their own meal. The quality is what I would like to highlight and to say that we had a fabulous date night! We were assisted by an amazing waitron including floor manager who checked in on guests and arranged a decorated plate wishing us for our anniversary (that special touch)
What a lovely Hussar Grill branch. Will definitely recommend it AND go back for more.

Located in a small shopping mall this restaurant offers a good albeit ubiquituous choice of steaks, one ostrich and one game dish each, and a very good selection of wines. Most of the waiters are very friendly and knowledgable although there are few who appear to be a bit "strange". Tuesday is "Date Night" with a special for couples. All their egg-based accompaniments are made by hand the original way and delicious, e.g. Sauce Béarnaise, Custard.
Very good value for money.

Take a look at their very reasonable lun H prices. R99 for mains or R130 for starter and main.
I don't normally order any special, so I was very surprised when it was the same quality as their normal menu. I tried the calamari that was extremely tender. The tomatoe soup got a great review too. This restaurant knows how to make steak, so it is always my choice here. The salad was full of oil which I hate. But everything else was really good. We even had zero alcohol wine

We made our way to Hussars Grill at Willow Bridge for the well anticipated Date Night. We were warmly welcomed. The meal was delicious, our waiter Tony was very attentive and offered great service throughout the sitting. The food was delicious, they just always get it right! Thank you to the Kitchen Manager, Sherwin and Tony, for making our Night very special. We will definitely be back.

Of all the restaurants that I have visited over the country, Hussar Grill Willowbridge takes First Place for the best service, food and atmosphere. From entering the restaurant until leaving you are treated professionally and you feel at ease. Our very professional waiter came to our table and introduced us to the different the cuts which he showed physically to us. The cut I choose, Flambéed Tomahawk Steak, was made perfectly according to my order. (Something I always struggle with at other restaurants). Hussain Grill will most definitely see me again... Very soon. Many great Thanks to the staff.

On 4 different occasions, the restaurant was either closed or not serving (in advertised business hours). The staff was not even apologetic. Very rude. On the previous accasions that we were able to dine there, it was not comparible with other Hussar Grills. The food at this specific Hussar Grill is not up to standard!

Our dining experience at The Hussar Grill in Willowbridge, served by Cliff, was truly exceptional. From the moment we walked in, Cliff's attentiveness and warm demeanor made us feel welcomed. He was knowledgeable about the menu, offering recommendations that did not disappoint. The food arrived perfectly cooked and deliciously presented, reflecting the high standards of The Hussar Grill. Cliff's professionalism and the cozy ambiance of the restaurant combined to create a memorable evening for us. Highly recommend!

I enjoyed every moment here. Everything was perfect, from the starters to the main. The waiter brought us a complimentary Desert shot, it was so nice.
Very friendly staff who always checked on us. For someone like me who don't eat pumpkin, their pumpkin was so nice.

We had a great meal at Hussar, sampling their seasonal lunch menu. We had a calamari starter, very tasty and tender. My wife had the beef burger, which was fine, I had the deboned half chicken which was succulent and tasty. Unfortunately part of it was undercooked which I left. I had the malva dessert which was delicious.
The bad:
Glasses were filthy, brown and dirty bottoms, lipstick tops
Chicken had parts that were not properly cooked
Manager came after I showed raw chicken, she was frazzled and just took our dessert order, 3 times and then it was wrong (I got cream with malva which wasn't even presented as an option)
Despite the raw chicken, dirty glasses and a manager who couldn't remember orders, we enjoyed our meal there and would go again

Great for a casual night out or even an occasion. Lovely vegetarian options that can be made vegan, definitely recommend the big mushrooms with tomato, feta and caramelised onions! Lovely service from Afica, will definitely come again :)

I booked online almost a week in advance.. Got all communications sent to me swiftly and easy to engage with.
Our booking was for 18:30. We rocked up like 10min earlier😁
From the greeting at the door, the manager, the waitrons have so much smiles a willingness to help
We were seated inside, close to door.
We got served our started there before I indicated to my husband that thr breeze at the door is a bit chilling.
We asked to be moved and with a smile the manager and waitron assisted.
We were checked Up so many times, our food was delicious.
But it's definitely the service.
Thank you to the manager who maintains a great culture amongst the staff.

What a gem of a restaurant. The beautiful, warm atmosphere and warm welcome from the receptionist was exceptional. It was our daughter's 25th birthday and it was the best way to celebrate it. New in Durbanville it was a big surprise. The food was DEVINE and tastefully prepared. Our waiter was excellent !!! Will definitely visit your restaurant again. Thank you for the Martini chocolate which was a wonderful treat for the birthday girl. Savva, Thea and family.
