Nice restaurant food doesn't blow you away but worth a visit. We started outside but asked to relocate inside due to the heat and the owner was quick to accommodate. Staff are nice my daughter said it was the best bolognese she had eaten and loved the milkshakes. My wife and I had lasagna and seafood pasta which were ok. The skampi starter was great but 4 prawns for 110 deserved to be.

Decent food for affordable prices

Service is a bit slow and sometimes the staff simply forgets to bring the drinks you have ordered. But this is Africa. My friend had a good pasta and I ordered the seafood pizza. Both were decent. Soft drinks are priced a bit higher then in other restaurants in St. Lucia, but the price paid for the food was not high.

Stay away from the house wine

We had dinner at Alfredo's on our last night in St. Lucia. The menu is interesting and the quality of the food is good. We ordered the house wine which was warm and sour. There is simply no excuse for such atrocious stuff in a country like South Africa which has so many good and reasonably priced wines, and I felt sorry for the tourists who didn't complain. We ordered a "proper" bottle which needed cooling first - perhaps the restaurant might invest a bit of money in a wine fridge...

Good food - good choices

The town of St Lucia is very laid back and as this was our first visit we asked for recommendations - Alfredo's came highly recommended and they did not disappoint. Very good menu, with wide variety of choice to suit any palate, including vegetarian. We ordered the Chicken Schnitzel and it was great.

Decent italian food

Pretty decent italian food, especially for south african standards. Don’t expect italian style food you’d get in european restaurants, but overall I was positively suprised by the quality of the food. Especially the pastas, pizza’s and wines were really good. The lasanga not so much.

Horrific customer service

The food is good but the service is atrocious. We went there in on the 30 December 2024 for dinner. The waiter was no where to be seen. Eventually I had to go and place the order at the bar for our food. When we approached the owner about the bad service of his waiters he simply told us in a very rude and arrogant way why we didn’t get up and go look for the waiter. Excuse me am I not the customer here, why must I get up and go and look for a waiter to get service and then they still have the audacity to ask for a tip. They need to know something there are many other restaurants in the vicinity that offer a much better service and better food. I don’t need to go there but they need us as customers.

Rather skip the pizza

We were really looking forward to real Italian flavour pizza, we ordered 4 take-away pizzas; 2x Alfredos favourite, Sicilia & Hawian. Well in short; should I feel like pizza again, I will rather go and buy Dr Oetker pizza at Spar. Like previous client mentioned, really expected more from a restaurant, even more so from an Italian one.

Take Aways - Pizza

Over priced. Biscuit like base. Smeared in canned tomatoes paste, NOT fresh tomato, a Margarita should taste like a Margarita, not Basil. The Hawaiian pizza had a biscuit type base, dry and no flavour. An Italian place should definitely do better!!

Not a bad place for some Italian food, good service, attentive owner, food was fresh and hot with great flavors. Will go there again. Oh for us smokers they even have a nice, yes i said a nice, outdoor smoking section.

Great Italian food even in St Lucia!

Alfredo is the most lovely person and really cares about customer service. We had the most enjoyable visits not only for the fabulous food but also for the actual experience. Thanks Alfredo for the authentic cappuccino and Italian biscuits not to mention the creme caramel to end a perfect home made pasta bolognese! We miss you and your food already!

Worst food on the strip

We were told to go here for the best viewing of the hippos -well that is all I can say they have going for them, and not worth it. For a restaurant that is classified as Italian it was a joke! The pizza is not made in a wood pizza oven, was totally tasteless and can quite honestly say I have had better from the frozen section of pick n pay. My partner ordered the chicken schnitzel, which was actually crumbed chicken cutlets. There are far better places to get "authentic" Italian and a view of the hippos such as Dune and Reef

Reading the advice of other users, we went to this restaurant right next to our hotel, and made a reservation for dinner. Luckily because at 6.30pm everything was already full. Alfredo, who speaks Italian very well, is a friendly and helpful person who is sure to please and give advice on dishes. We had a mixed fish platter. Consisting of grilled line fidh, fried calamari and 4 large grilled prawns, with cooked potatoes and vegetables. Mushy pasta

I was looking forward to a good Alfredo but didn’t find it here. Tasted out of a can and noodles were so mushy I couldn’t eat it. I can’t remember what my husband had but he liked it. I would try again and not order pasta.

Fantastic dinner to end a beautiful trip

I took Thea, the manageress of the B&B I was staying and the tour guide for dinner here on my last day to thank them for being wonderful hosts. The owner of the restaurant came to check to see if everything was good a few times, which was a really good way to keep their guests happy. I had melanzane al parmigiana, which was pipping hot and really tasty. The price was reasonably good too. I would definitely recommend this little gem.
