Ok, this was the most terrible meal I had in years, I ordered French toast with fried banana and syrup, got flat pieces of bread with uncooked banana on, seems like they ran out of banana as well, it was 4 finger thick little black...peaces of banana, bacon was thick and you could not cut it for 95.00 This was terrible, The waitress came back and said yes, they forgot to fry the banana, No Hall and sons, wont ever eat there again wish I took a photo!!!More

Staff not trained. Relative cheap breakfast. No knive/ fork, no salt / pepper wrong bread ( should have been croissant). Birdsong lovely / outside lovely. Have so much potential. Sorry guys- especially management- you can do much better.

What a huge disappointment. Waited 20min for a glass of juice and a pot of tea. We were just ignored. Food came after 30min with dirty cutlery. Waited another 10min. Will not go back.

This was one of our favourite places fo lunch. Don’t know what happened but the service as well as food quality went for a loop. They probably won’t see us again. Ever. I don’t mind the wait for food but to wait 45 minutes to...receive feedback they haven’t got stock on one person’s dish is unacceptable. So what do you order to not let the other people wait? Chips. Then you get cold chips. Chicken strips overcooked. Pizza cold and cheese not even properly melted. Whatever. Bye bye!More

Our family's favorite Sunday Brunch / Lunch place. The open sandwiches are especially tasty but we have had a variety of dishes here and are yet to be disappointed. The atmosphere is really calming, sitting out in the garden/ nursery between luscious greenery and bird-song.

The fresh chicken pie something one has to try. The fresh bread and rolls an extra bonus. The gifts something to die for. The trout in the refrigetator a pleasant surprise. The african grey parrot unfortunately bites.☺

Went for lunch on Monday and not very impressed. Had the famous pie and gravy. The pie was not that fresh and the chips undercooked and soggy. Will try again over a weekend. Service however was up to standard.

We made a stop at Hall's Farm Stand while driving from Johannesburg to the Sabi Sands. It was a great choice. The outdoor seating is in a garden setting and is fantastic. The food arrived promptly and the service was friendly and professional. The store...itself has a great array of local and South African products. Everything was clean and well organized. We were pleasantly surprised and would highly recommend a stop at Hall's.More

Whether you go to the nursery and take advantage of the shop and restaurant or the other way around, don't miss any of the opportunities offered! The nursery is one of the best I ever visited, with the very professional advice of its owners. The...shop is full of locally produced jams and preserves, cakes and biscuits, sweets and handicrafts. And the restaurant blends in with the decor of the nursery. A very attractive concept store/restaurant!More

I had been recommended by friends to go to this restaurant/coffee shop to celebrate a birthday and we certainly weren't disappointed. The fruit juice on the table, decorated with fruit, looked very inviting and the breakfast was efficiently served to our large table and was...delicious and the portions large, with a great variety of items. This was followed by coffees and cappucinos with the same excellent service and made for a relaxing function enjoyed by all. A super way to celebrate!More

We stopped here on the recommendation of a friend to try the "Moerse Burger". I was pleasantly surprised to see that the nuts, condiments etc on sale where of a huge variety and very fresh as well. As for the "Moerse Burger" it was the...best burger I have ever eaten! And a bargain at just R100 (although I think the price will increase if it should become popular). The kids loved the over the top beautiful desserts. Well worth the stop.More
