The manager Constance is good and very helpful. The website however is very misleading, Sunday evenings closing time de facto is 19h30, not as advertised, The staff are slow and very disorganised. Food enjoyable and the evening was fun, including a birthday song by the staff.

We were the first people in at 9am in peak season. We went for the most basic foods - toasted cheeses and waffles which were decent.Coffee took 15 minutes to arrive, and food 35 - and we were the only table in the restaurant.
We were in a hurry, so this was disappointing. Clearly the restaurant needs time for the staff to warm up before they can click into motion.
Manager/Owner(s) very helpful and on the ball though.

While staying at Sanbonani , Hazyview , visited the Running Brave Spur to celebrate Jill's brother's birthday. We were welcomed enthusiastically and served promptly. Food was great. Glenn did not want a fuss , but the waiter insisted that a birthday must be celebrated , so the troops were called in , and all serenaded him!! At the end of the evening we were all presented with Spur steak knives and sent on our way.Great evening !!

During a visit to Hazyview, we popped in for a bite to eat. If I can remember correctly, this Spur used to be across the road, and has now moved into the new shopping complex (near Game) which is on the road towards Kruger Gate.
This restaurant was super clean...spotless!
We ordered our food and drinks, and did not have to wait long before our food was served. We could not fault it...good Spur food.
The staff and management was friendly and easy to talk to.
I can recommend this Spur.

We were a group on 9. Took forever to get coffee. Apparently machine is broken. Why open for breakfast if you can’t serve coffee?
Food then took forever to get there , was cold when it arrived.
Waiter was doing his best. Resturant only had 1 other couple in it. What causes the delay. Twice people from our group went to enquirer what was going on with the food.
Rather go to mc Donald’s. Plenty other options in the centre

We had a table of 12 people - service was poor - meals took more than an hour and then orders were wrong, food was terrible and when asked why the meal was not the same as on the menu - eg with cheeses(no cheese on the meal) the waiter said no that was for another burger.
The manageress didn't visit the table once - not even after complaint that the meal was taking too long.
Calling to apologize after using their rating system doesn't help after they have taken R400.00 couple (yes around R2,700.00) for a lousy meal. MC Donalds would have been better

Had lunch here on a Saturday and found the place very busy but there was a team of enthusiastic staff to wait on. Good choice and tasty sauces on our rib and chicken combos. Great atmosphere for families with the play equipment just outside, mainly locals eating and felt safe within the mall.

At Spur you know what you get, the same at most restaurants. The Running Brave Spur is no different with slack service but average food.

My request to put my shopping basket inside so as to keep an eye on it was met with no leave outside !
Phoned the manager to complain as I was also going to make a 24 pax booking for dinner that evening to be told that the paint on his walls was more important to him than my basket
Will not recommend this very restaurant there are far superior in Hazyview

We went to the spur for a breakfast where the service was very good and all waiters was helpfull. We visit just after opening and the breakfast was well prepared and we was assisted with good food very fast
