Delicious pizzas, cozy warm interior, friendly staff…. What more could one ask for on a cold day! PS: Would love to sit outside on a warmer day too! Looks just as inviting!

Visited the restaurant again after change of ownership. The venue is great, nice fire-place and more parking. The pizza however is not so great anymore. The fillings were very good but I personally did not like the crust - tasted like scones. I will try...something else next time.More
This place has a great atmosphere and even better pizza's. One of the better South African wood fired pizza's at an affordable price. Their location is in the heart of Magoebaskloof and the perfect stop for a lunch or breakfast on the way to Tzaneen...and the great Kruger National Park. Great experience.More
This restaurant has just reopened under new owners after massive renovations. We went for lunch (delicious pizzas) and dinner (the best eisbein I have ever had) a few days later. The restaurant was very busy both times with people wanting to check out the “new”...Pot n‘ Plow. The food was delicious both times and well worth waiting for. The owners (and their family) are very hands on and make you very welcome. Great food at good prices. Set to become a firm favourite.More
We spent a lovely few hours for an early dinner here and the staff couldn't have been friendlier in this traditional style pub. I had the lovely Eisbein which was perfect on a cold winters evening (though we were warm and toasty next to the...fireplace!)More
Thank You for your review! We very much appreciate it!
Beautiful and quaint. Has it's own personality and offer the locally brewed beer! Primarily known for its Pizza's, it certainly delivers! Exceptionally well-priced food and a healthy variety if you are looking to eat something else. Wonderful "hidden-garden" atmosphere should you choose to sit outside....Worth a visit every time you are in the area. Themed music nights and a very traditional English pub/Tea-garden feel. Supported by 2 fireplaces as well and very safe and easy access from the R71. In-house antique store with some gems worth looking into.More
I was in the area and it was advised in many tourism brochures, so I went... I was expecting that it was crowded on a Saturday night, but it was not really... only a few people... only locals, which I found great... I've been invited...to join their table and we had a lovely evening chatting about the world... The food is homemade, fresh and generous. I had the lasagna... It was my dinner and lunch the next day!More
Undoubtedly the best pizza we have ever had! Crispy thin crust. They sure got the recipe right!! Next visit we will be back here 🍕.
The place speaks of lots of character and is beautifully decorated. Interesting menu. We ordered potpies but the chicken was missing in action!
Best place! Cozy, little secluded place, amazing food, best service, can't wait to go back. Enjoyed our time there.
Stopped off here on our way back from Phalaborwa. Cozy English Pub. Great craft beer and delicious thin crust Pizza's!! Service was a bit slow but our waitress was lovely and tried her best.
Best pizza ever! Great service and private spaces to dine, no other people close to you and beautiful place
We just stopped for a quick drink during the week. I think it could be great during peak season. When we walked in the smell was amazing, not sure what they were making but I wanted it! Service could have been better, the waiter wasn't...too enthusiastic to serve us and she was clearly not clued up about stock in the bar. I'd probably stop there again to give the place another chance, we probably didn't go at the right time.More
There's so many great reasons to visit Haenertsburg, Haenertsburgers are warm, genuine, fun, helpful and welcoming, the landscape is awesome, mountains, dense forests, waterfalls, winding mountains passes and a gazillion things to do, ziplining, kloofing, white water rafting, hiking, shopping, chillaxing ......., and no less...enticing, the Pot n Plow The Pot n Plow makes SA's best pizza, which when accompanies by the local craft beer, Zwakala, it's truly a spiritual experience (another thing to do, visit the Zwakala Brewery). The Pot n Plow is unique, an English style pub, owned by an English man, Gary, serving pizza at the end, or is it the beginning?, of the Drakensburg mountain range (yes, the Drakensburg stretches all the way from KwaZulu Natal to Northern Limpopo). How did Gary end up in Northern Limpopo?, making SA's best pizza, well, that's a story you should ask him when you're there and please, double tip Anne and the rest of Gary's team, lockdown has diluted take home pay and they do a great job.More
We visited in the afternoon and had three different pizzas. The pizzas were very, very good - nice thin crust! Service was good.
