A typical South African pub with a nice atmosphere and menu with a local flavour. Great value for money, especially the daily specials. Make sure you are hungry because the T-bone steaks are served in portions of 600g, 1 Kg or 1.4 Kg and at...a price you will not believe. The steaks are grilled on an open fire outside the restaurant. You have a choice of side dishes like crispy onion rings, chips or mielie pap, and the braai broodjies are quite special in taste and size. Drinks are reasonably priced and service was friendly and efficient.More
My boyfriend took me for lunch on Saturday. They had really great specials. I had the 3 mini eisbeins special..., It was was enough to feed 3 people which was great because it meant we had left overs for supper. It was really tasty.
Good Food is always found at Pepper Chair with a relaxed atmosphere you are guaranteed to enjoy the night. Best T-bone in Gauteng at a price that you can't even make cheaper at your own home. And remember to also order the Cream Spinach with...your meal, the best there is which will make you come back again for more. Everytime we are there, we want to introduce the place to someone new cause it is just too good and value for money not to share with everyone. You can go as yourself and always feel welcome. Go hungry, cause you would want to try all their food cause everything is affordable and delivers great food!More
This visit as well as previous one was not an enjoyable occasion- the previous time my beef skewer was mostly fat and the same for my steak today- don’t mind fat, but not if it more than 50% of the meat and flies are terrible
Good meat in great quantities. Limited whisky and beer selection. This is not the place I would take my wife and kids to, but good for the boys to stuff their faces with booze and food whilst watching sport on telly.
