We have been here meanwhile many times. The place is running
by the charming Agrella familiy. The location is beautiful at the country
side. And the food is outstanding. Highly recommended.
Thanks Susan, Julio snr and Julio jr,

Thank you, Peter and Doris. Enjoy Germany and the rest of your travels!
Excellent food and extremely hospitable hosts, in a beautiful and intimate setting. The super-friendly Weimeraners sitting @ our feet was a nice additional touch. We will definitely go back and highly recommend it. Excellent value for money, especially considering the quality of the food. There...is no liquor licence so make sure to bring your own wine!More

A barn like building which is home to the family that look after you. A small menu of delicious food while enjoying the care of the hosts. The menu changes every Sunday. Bring your own drinks - no corkage!Great garden for kids to run around...and lots of beautiful cats and Ogston. A great experience worth the trip!More

Gorgeous country destination for a huge family meal. All food made with love.An authentic South African experience with a twist of European cuisine thrown in.Home baked bread, delectable salads and lots of home grown produce.
Paying a visit to the enchanting Bistro Celerio for the first time swept me off my feet. Walking into the wonderful structure, I was unsure whether to categorise it as castle, barn or cathedral. In retrospect, I think it is a perfect blend of genuine...creativity, unbridled passion, a generous sense of quirkiness and honest hospitality. The friendly play of light through coloured glass panels, the space's incredible loftiness, fantastic works of art tastefully arranged throughout and whimsical touches all contribute to evoke the visitor's sense of wonder. Julio and Susan are absolutely natural hosts with an unstoppable urge to please. Their wholesome food brings comfort and joy and their unforgettable charcoal bread will lure the most staunch banter back to this gem in the beautiful Southern Cape! I cannot wait to go back.More
I was invited as a guest for a birthday lunch and fortunately we had the harvest table. Besides the food, the entire experience was fantastic and well worth a visit. An afternoon to remember. Thank you Willem, Julio for your friendly service, Susan and their...son for the awesome food. We'll be back.More
