The food was delicious, and to our pleasant surprise, the portions were quite large as well. I had a cocktail called "Buchu tea" which was one of the best cocktails I've ever had (although it's pretty pricey, so I'll keep it for special occasions). Our dinner at Ilali was delicious and our server Thabo was very friendly and attentive. We had the forest mushroom linguine and vegan artichoke pizza. Both were great. We were also happy to find out that they had a vegan dessert, a chocolate cake. This...was very tasty as well. The chefs here really know what they’re doing. Passing through Wilderness after a couple of years we decided to stop for brunch at a previously visited restaurant. However, The Floor Manager explained that it's now under new ownership with other branches in George (nearby). What a great experience! Classy but understated interiors, excellent...service and exceptional food. Our Eggs Benedict were cooked and presented to perfection and other food served at nearby tables also looked most appealing.More

This place was fabulous and Shepherd, the Manager, was so helpful, accommodating, knowledgeable and particularly willing to cater to my food intolerances. The Seafood Curry was amazing, which is what my partner had. Thank you also to Herman, the chef extraordinaire.

We four elderly gentlemen returned to this excellent establishment and had a delightful lunch. Mine host and I settled for theSurf and Turf (200gm sirloin steak with coal fired prawns, and baby squid fried and rustic chips with Paris butter) Very well presented and a...great meal.
