A truly special experience from start to finish, we were taken on a journey exploring amazing food paired with outstanding wines. Definatelly would recommend following the courses with their chosen wine parings.
Couldn't recommend it any higher for anyone traveling or around the garden route.
My wife and I celebrated our 20th wedding anniversary here. We have been trying to book for years. I am glad we finally got to go. Serendipity is hands down the top restaurant you will experience on the Garden Route and rivals most of the...top CT ones too. The setting, the service - the owners, who are both chefs, explain each menu item in great detail to you. The cocktails, its all amazing. We had the Bonsmara fillet. The menu changes regularly. You can close your eyes and book now before its full again and you cant get in.More
Quite simply the best meal we've ever had. Not more can be said actually. Rudolph is the perfect host and the team are extremely professional and attentive. The food is outstanding. Everyone should do this at least once in their lives!
We loved everything about this restaurant. From welcoming cocktails with the most interesting ingredients, the setting, the staff, the food......faultless and stunning.
Serendipity can be very proud of themselves. They deserve being No. 1 in Wilderness and I'm sure they will fare very well when...compared to any top restaurant anywhere in the world. The food is beautifully prepared, delicious to eat and we definitely did not leave hungry. I was expecting very high wine prices, but here too I was pleasantly surprised. Excellent wine list and very reasonably priced.
Thanks for a very memorable evening.More
Serendipity certainly lived up to its reputation as one of the top dining destinations on the Garden Route. Fish cake starters with delicious flavours followed by another fish main course equally excellent. Dessert the highlight of the night with to die for chocolate and berry...flavours delighting the palate. Waiters provide top service and owners introduce a special personal touch. Great introduction to an awesome evening by the gifted chef herself. Ten stars all round !More
During these crazy Covid times, when restaurants have been faced with immense challenges and it’s a constant struggle to stay afloat, it was refreshing to experience uncompromised enthusiasm and excellence at this hidden gem of the Garden Route.
From the moment Rudolf welcomed us in...from the cold we felt at home and knew we were in for a treat! It’s no wonder that the walls are adorned with numerous awards and accolades because the standard of the cuisine, complexity of the menu, variety of the wine list, attention to detail and service was exceptional! As a chef myself, who has worked abroad for the last 22 years, I can truly appreciate the dedication involved in consistently creating such exceptional experiences and I salute Serendipity for succeeding in doing so during these most challenging times!More
We visited for dinner over the April long weekend- a truly experiential dining experience- we utilized the shuttle service offered by the restaurant which made dining super convenient. The food was exceptionaly presented and tasting ! The staff , chef and host were phenomenal and...hands on . We did the wine pairing with the dinner as well which was a great addition. Highly recommend the visitMore
