We popped in this morning to have breakfast. The surrounding scenery is stunning and our food was very good. I would recommend this place to visitors.

If you dont like to see how untrained most pet owners are, dont come. Food is good. Scenery is beautiful. Service is good. The place is beautiful and well kept. But my best advice is dont make it pet friendly. Let the dogs stay home...and safe. The pets destroyed my peace. Having to witness kids pull dogs on leashes and pushing them up and down the slide.More

Recommended by a friend who lives in the area we went to the Olde Duck for brekkie our first morning, wow! Warm scones, fantastic coffee and all around scrumptious fare. This started a love affair with this local joint! We returned following a walk along...the river (thanks Sani spoors!) and then again a week later when our travels brought us back to Underberg. Service is friendly and efficient. An all around favourite from our trip - and dog-friendly as a bonus! We don't have kids but the variety of entertainment options for small humans was unsurpassed. Highly recommend.More

Annual stop at the duck on our way to berg timeshare - great lunch, friendly staff and cute animals. Returned later in the week for delicious coffee, highly recommended milkshakes and awesome carrot cake. Scones and waffles close 2nd!

I love Olde Duck, this was my second trip here. This time around we had the lightest pancakes with syrup and cream, they were too divine. Thank you for accommodating the kids by sharing their hot chocolate in separate cups. It's the little things you...do, that provide an extraordinary experience for us. Will definitely be back!More

Sit outside in the peaceful garden with beautiful mountain views. The cappuccinos are truly fabulous, and the carrot cake was moist and delicious. Friendly efficient staff. We will definitely be back for a light lunch next time we are in the berg.

We visited the Olde duck to have some sweet treats, only to be told they weren't ready so we had a waffle and pancake instead. The waffle with ice cream and syrup was so good and the pancake with cinnamon sugar and lemon was to...die for. These were delicious! My husband had a cappuccino which was very good. We ordered a small plate if chips after which came out quickly and were hot and fresh. We will be back!!More

What an excellent morning spent at this lovely restaurant. Staff were all friendly and efficient, the bar-one cake to die for and two friendly donkeys for good measure! Would recommend having a meal here and trying “the best cappuccino in the Berg”.

Having lunch here was the highlight of our trip to the Drakensberg. What a lovely place, the food was excellent, we had the chicken roti and the chicken burger. Both were absolutely brilliant. The chicken burger was one of the best I've ever had. The...atmosphere amongst the chicken, donkeys and llamas just bring the whole experience to another level. So lovely coming from the city to be surrounded by farm animals. You won't be disappointed.More

Lovely informal setting with tables i the garden and mini animal farm. Maybe call them and check on the dogs, they might allow them.
