We have had a few meals at the clubhouse whilst staying at Fairways. The view is incredible and nice to sit outside on a warm day. The restaurant offers a reasonable golf club style menu with lots of options for lunch. Friendly staff. Nice pub. Well worth a visit for a relaxed lunch.

I've played on mornings that were so quite that you could hear the ball hit the fairway. it's a bot of a distracting course because the views are just so magnificent and the air so clean. Beautiful club house with modern conveniences and an amazing terrace to enjoy halfway meals and after-game drinks. Pricing is reasonable and greens and tees are of good quality. quite hilly in places so I recommend taking a cart. Lots of accommodation options in the Gooderson Resort on the property

View is spectacular. The Club House had restaurant quality food. The greens were a bit fluffy and the baboons were raucous, but the round of golf was enjoyable. Would visit again.

Visited the area whilst staying at castleburn. Really disappointing food. Ordered cuppachinos chips waffle and scones. The scones were so bad looked green guey and moldy I returned it immediately. The oil in which chips were friend tasted fishy
Cuppachinos brought in early before meals and was cold.
Ridiculous for midday and not so busy. We love supporting our locals but they need to make sure fresh food is served and done properly.
I won't be back again

We were staying nearby and my wife and daughter enjoyed a game of golf. We met them for lunch, and were impressed with the service and the quality of the food. We ate overlooking the lake with a beautiful view of the mountains

The staff are supper friendly and efficient - we can certainly recommend their food whether breakfast or lunch. I had a delicious Eggs Benedict.

There were only 2 other people on the course so it was millionaires golf. Condition of course was average and a bit wet in places, but views were excellent.

Played a few rounds of golf and since its winter things are a bit brown to say the least. Not crowded.
Golfing there is not for those like me who are not that good. I swear one hole is on a
Plateau and the only way to get the ball on the green is to sink it. Ha ha Im not sure but I think I saw some Baboons laughing at me when I teed off. And yes they are on property. Signs around say not to feed them.
Speaking of food, the restaurant there has a great menu and great service along with a nice pub. Everything a golfer needs. Stayed at Fairways Chalets so right on the Golf Course.

Even if not playing golf the warm (with log fire) pub is worth a visit. Spectacular views over a dam towards the Rhino horn and mountains. Great food. Very friendly and accommodating staff. Well worth a visit!

My husband played a round of 9 holes and I trotted behind him. He said the course was in excellent condition and he really enjoyed it. The scenery is magnificent. Wonderful to hear the ducks amongst the trees.
