We've been frequenting Angelo's for just about 30 years now - 3 different venues (and owners) in the Granada Centre. Haven't been for a while and yet dinner this week was absolutely delicious. Same delicious tastes and excellent service. We all loved our meals!

We tried the as a takeout, the prawn gamberi, the chicken vesuvio, the bolognese and the lasagna. The gamberi was just right as it wasn't too rich as no cream or tomato base, just olive oil and garlic, could do with a few more prawns, but mice combo nonetheless. The chicken vesuvio combo had the right amount of chilli and my sons enjoyed the bolognese and lasagna. I would have preferred a bit of cream in the bolognese but they prefer a more tomato base.

Food, service and price all excellent. This old favourite has retained its high standards - I only hope people support so that it is around for years to come.
It’s been 2 years since our last visit and it might even be better than before. Authentic Italian with some innovative dishes - baked garlic prawn starter amazing

Went there with my mum after a hectic day at the hospital where my dad was. Warm but no fuss welcome, prompt service, helpful waiter, nice background live music and great hearty food (pasta) with a more than generous helping. The place seemed to be filled by people the owner (I think it was the owner) knew. Know why they go back.

We were a table of 6 and everyone enjoyed their meals. We requested a table outside and found that it was nicely setup. Food was delicious and arrived beautifully hot. Staff were attentive and service was good. COVID protocols observed and have No hesitation in recommending this restaurant.

We remember Angelos from many years ago and always loved it, but now under new ownership we were not as confident. But wow, its was awesome. The are has been extended to include an outdoor area in the Granada Centre. We were warmly welcomed and the service was perfect. Our pizza and pasta meals were outstanding.
Would definitely recommend it and will go again.

Am not the biggest pasta fan but that sure as Bob got changed last night we had an amazing meal.
Atmosphere was totally relaxed and friendly as if you joined a family feast! Lotsa laughter big tables excellent and attentive service and for me a good value proposition.
Walked out of there totally relaxed and with a huge grin on my face
I will be back!!!!

Wow! What a day! We were supposed to go for an early lunch and ended up leaving at 21:00 at night!🤣atmosphere was incredible and the owners Charmaine and Danny is an INCREDIBLE team of hosts! Our food was amazing and if you ever want lamb shank-THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO! Their head chef Nicole is a work of art when it comes to cooking this dish that falls of the bones when you pick it up!!! Plan your event here next time when you have a birthday or whatever because everyone will love this place! Well done Angelos Team!!! We will be back definitely!!! -Leandra&Alex

Celebrated my wife's Birthday there. Sevice was excellent and the food was absolutely superb. My go to restaurant when in Umhlanga !!!

The starters were good as was my guests pasta however my fillet steak in a marsala sauce was spoilt as the fillet was cooked medium rare and not medium as requested and had obviously not been rested as the residue blood seeped into the white sauce resulting in a unappetising looking meal – staff were not on the ball, if you mention as I was not asked that there were problems with the food at least a sorry would have been good - the mangement were conspicous by their absence - we ate from the lunch special s menu so prices were reasonable – wine was included so I cannot comment on pricing – I eat out on business lunches regularly and this was not the best I have experienced on the Umhlanga "Strip"

We took a chance and pitched without a reservation but was lucky to get one of the 2 or 3 available tables.
Our waiter, Chris, was very well prepared and knew his cutts and each's aging by heart making the ordering part of the amazing dining experience.
The food was perfectly prepared and delicious. We will most definately go again.

We always visit Angelos when we on holiday in umhlanga every year.
Time after time this restaurant has maintained its good food and wonderful service.
Welcomed with some focaccia breads which is not usual in Durbs.
We ordered Carpaccio and Greek salad to start - delicious!
My wife had good old fashioned Spaghetti Boll and I had a sea food pasta.
Both were excellent!
We went on a Tuesday night and loved the live music.
Just the right volume so we could chat and also sing along.
The service was 5 stars.
A few nights later, it rained so we ordered pizza and salad from Mr Delivery (also from Angelos) it came within 25 mins and was outstanding for a take away.
Even though there are now way too many restaurants in Umhlanga and we dined at a few one of the best is still Angelos.
Consistently great fresh food and the welcome feeling cannot be better!

This venue is always consistently good. Attentive staff in a lovely environment.Great selection on the menu. Most items are tasty and well served timeously.
