What a real gem, kid friendly with a wonderful array of things to do. Jungle gym, puttputt and swimming pool in a beautiful garden restaurant setting. Great food and service. The perfect end to a lovely visit of the ancient crocs and snakes. Cages and animals...are immaculate and very well looked after. Snake exhibit was fantastic. A must see on your trip.More

A well-organised reptile experience with a pleasant little restaurant which makes for a good break from driving, the place would otherwise be worth skipping, if only to show your kids some crocodiles and snakes. Perhaps it is more worthwhile if one does one of the...guided tours or stays for the snake show. I did not see a Gaboon Viper in their collection, which seems like a miss, as one of the most unique snake species from that part of the country.More

Staff were very unfriendly. When we arrived there the park were supposedly under Maintenance. No notification were put up to advise that maintenance is in progress. Will never waste time and money to go there again.

Extremely slow service, overpriced food, unfriendly staff. The reptile park is interesting but we can't recommend the restaurant.

As we were there at low season we were the only ones in the conservatory. Lawrence was the best guide possible. He is so passionate about his animals, we could listen to him all day. He is very knowledgeble and smart. Go there, listen and...ask as much as you can. The animals are well taken care of and the conservatory is a nice place. Go there :) we'll be back someday. Popped in here when it was not feeding time for the Crocs and no guided tour. The terrarium with the snakes was very disappointing. I have been to many much nicer Reptile Parks.

If it wasn't for the guided tour we would have left very disappointed. We didn't try the restaurant. The place is a little smelly and the snake enclosure was dark and damp. The children felt a little sorry for the reptiles being surrounded by all...the prison like concrete with very little natural vegetation. The Zulu gentleman who conducted the tour was very Knowledgeable and great with the children. He really made it worthwhile.More

What a disappointment. Lawrence made absolutely no attempt to tailor the tour to my son, despite us being the only visitors. He treated us with absolute contempt and rattled through the information as though he had somewhere else to be. Information provided was absolute minimum....Staff on the front desk were abrupt and rude. If this centre is intended as an adult education centre then it should be marketed as such.More

I am not really a fan of visiting places where wild animals are kept captive, but the tour seemed very professional and informative from a distance. Looked like they give an hour and a half’s information on various reptiles and the Zulu culture. One can...also interact with snakes and crocodiles, if you wish.More
