Delicious chicken tikka masala and naan with excellent service. Note this is mainly a take-away and not a sit down place, but the owner and staff were very friendly and allowed me a seat outside (limited outdoor seating). Enjoyed the complimentary samoosa as an appetiser. The place looks unassuming from the road, but my experience was overall positive. Easy location in Durban North when looking for a quick Indian take-away

Food is always tasty and of very good quality. The Bunnies and Curries are flavourful and well spiced. Samoosas are excellent - crispy and well drained. The Naan bread is very good.

1 When you order from an Indian restaurant you think spice, flavour and a taste to remember. You don’t have to be an Indian to know tasty and flavour not forgetting spice. It’s fake places like this that has a good name and big menu but don’t know what their dishes are supposed to be. A “VINDALOO” is a spicy and flavoursome dish of you did not know this then google will help explain. I knew what a vindaloo is so ordered 1 hot. As they have 4 different strengths (which should not be) what I got was a sweet gravy with pieces of prawn n chicken. Unpleasant no spice no flavour just sweet unappealing sad dish. A complete waste of time and money!

The name Panaji is derived from a town in Goa India as depicted in their menu. It's an Indian restaurant with beautiful serene pics all around. Taj Mahal wall paper taking the entire space on one of the walls. Panaji is a nice small and quaint little place creating an intimate atmosphere We were a family of 6 and ordered a variety of dishes with medium heat. All our dishes had loads of flavour and the spicing is just right. We encountered a wonderful experience. Friendly service and food nicely prepared and was on time. Will come visit again.

We are regular visitors to Panaji and the food is always outstanding. A special mention must be made of the palau rice which is heavenly. Our favourite curry restaurant!

Small, simple place with friendly staff. Comprehensive menu with all curry dishes available in your choice of Veg, chicken, beef etc. This is the second time I've eaten there and my friend was extremely impressed with her dish. The Mahani veg curry was delicious as was the Korma veg with paneer. They are licenced and serve a great filter coffee.

Had takeaways from Panaji. Friends of mine always rave about it. Delicious variety of curries. Had the Tikka Marsala Paneer curry, very tasty & good portion size. Wasn't too impressed with the naan bread, was a bit chewy. Sooji was also ok, not sweet enough for my liking.
