Quick service at the busiest time of the day. The curries, bunny chows and roti rolls are second to none in the area.

I really enjoyed the food but still prefer Hollywood food. The only difference is Goundens uses a more flavoured meat but harder. Hollywood uses a softer meat with a more flavoured gravy - weird. I eat alot of bunny chows... They do have other options...More
Visited this establishment with hubby and ordered the famous mutton bunny I had heard so much about. Portions are huge and love the bowl of extra gravy that accompanied the serving. Spicy I must say...if u have the flu highly recommend the side gravy dish...More
Goudans is not a "fine restaurant "but delivers the best of "Durban curries in sadly poor venue . This restaurant is well known by the Indian community .

Food is very good and servings are good. We eat here often and often order food for the staff from here. My only gripe is that Fridays are very busy and service is a bit slow. They should emploly extra staff on Fridays
We have been having Goudens for 20 plus years. Its almost become a Saturday afternoon ritual! Hands down the tastiest Durban curry! Kudus to them!

Not much has changed about this hidden gem that used to be located at the back of a workshop. New location, same incredibly delicious food. Their Mutton Bunny is by far the best in Durban. Excellent service, great food. An all-round good experience.
