So I read about this Gin bar and boutique distillery in some inflight magazine, and being a big fan of 'craft' gin, when we visited Durban I looked up Distillery 031. The venue is different, tucked between Umgeni road and the railway line in a old converted warehouse. From the outside it looks a bit dodge but soon we noticed... More

Best cocktails EVER. I tried the gin fizz (like a drinkable lemon meringue pie!) and the St. Clements - impossibly good. Amazing burgers and wings too, and the décor and vibe is just the cherry on top. Can't wait to go back!

Dropped in for lunch. Obligatory warehouse shabby setting is perfect. Don't be put off by the outside area, this place has plenty going for it. The artisan gin, vodka and absinthe are all worth a try, especially when you go for the tasting option. Great light bites, atmosphere and service make this a must visit especially for lunch.

Trendy food, trendy venue. The jazzy laid back vibe will appeal to both young and old (adult, as it is a bar too). The distillery showcased behind glass adds interest to the clean and minimalist interior with an almost rustic feel. Service is good and our waiter was knowledgable and friendly with advice on drinks and dishes such as prohibition... More

Not only did we get to enjoy Durban's finest G&T, we were able to see the gin being made! That's right - you get to eat and drink inside a working craft distillery. They had loads of vegetarian options. The burgers are amazing and fries addictive. Loads of other interesting twists on classic dishes. Everyone enjoyed their food. The highlight though... More

We came across this place while walking on station road (the new place to be seen with many hidden gems). Firstly the welcome is fantastic! Staff are so friendly and passionate about the place. What makes this place unique is they brew their own beer and distill their own brandy, liquors and even an absinthe. We ordered off their menu... More

Delicious food and delicious cocktails. Definitely somewhere to go to treat yourself. Love the cinnamon and ginger beer gin cocktail - Gogos ruin. Not too convinced on the gin and tonic, it tastes rather strange. Awesome vibe

Hi abiglover93. Thanks for the positive review. We are super stoked you liked the Gogo's ruin, made with our home made ginger beer and our barrel aged gin, not much left of this limited edition spirit so glad you managed to get some. On the Gin and Tonic, it can be a bit different to what most people are used... More
