Cafe 1999 came highly recommended so we decided to try it and were not disappointed. The menu was definitely not run of the mill and so was the food. All our dishes were of a very high standard and a very nice wine selection to...More

I have visited Cafe 99 over a few years and the food together with the service has been great. Always know that I can trust going to an establishment that is consistent even after a long time visit.

Good food. A bit rowdy with music but good atmosphere. Will go back for more though. Would've love to have lunch but only dinner served on a Saturday. A bit inconvenient to say the least.

Hi Catherine - thanks for the kind words and will definitely suggest lunchtime dining for a more relaxed jazzy vibe - unfortunately we don't serve lunch in the weekend as it hasn't proven to be worthwhile but are available Mon-Fri for lunch!

You are always assured of excellent food and the sharing option of their tapas style dishes makes for a wonderfully romantic date night.

The ambience is romantic that is perfect for a dinner for two, but can be fun for a group with the option of tapas to the table. We have have had both and enjoyed our evenings on both occasions with friendly staff.
