This new Latino cafe is just what we need In Our area. However it turns out to be a place where everyone is regarded drunk customers. We got there at 10 pm and was told no coffee, as the machine was off/not working as per...the manager and our usher. Then seated in the "VIP" area as the eating section was full. Then got asked " do you know the rules of sitting here" which means " you have to order alcohol , a bottle nogals" . Which was not on our radar. We came for some light foods, juices and coffee. Then we got coffee from McDonald's next door and got bombarded by some dude with serious hostility. After my insistence the "manager" was called to ve interrogate by his "manager" As to why we are drinking outside coffee. Then the food arrives, which shocked me to my marrow. Queen's Platter. With no queen in sight , it was more like a Porper platter. Serving 12 prawn shells, unflavored stale rice. Overfried hake fish. To "drunk" customers that will not notice , the less than standard food, I can only recommend the chips. This was chips for R430 basically. Bad service. Bad food. Bad management.More
