Great kosher restaurant on the second floor of a shopping mall. Open in the evening even when all other shops closed. Good choice of meat and fish options. Less for vegetarians but still some choices. Went twice and enjoyed both meals. Supervised Kosher.b
Just right. Perfect. Relaxed atmosphere, great service, wide variety, well prepared. Cleaver kiddies menu with half size burgers, no wasting, brilliant. Super tasty and well presented. Had an incredible meal last week @ the Deli Store. Situated in a mall in Morningside, it has a comfortable setting and excellent service from the owner who has his desk at the front of the store and from the waiters. Had the charcoal grilled...chicken kebabs and my client had a marinated smoked beef sandwich which smelt yummy. Food was great and all kosher under the beth din. The salad with my kebabs was fresh and crisp. My only complaint was that when I ordered one of the chockolate brownies on display they told me they where all sold. You shouldnt tempt a client.More
The Deli is a top class restaurant. Love the ribs, delicious! Fillet steak amazing. And they deliver all over Sandton. Very useful for lunch orders. Only one "complaint". They shut relatively early so check the times before getting there and finding it shut (As happened...to me one evening !!!)More
Great kosher food, very nice layout and setting. Owner is warm and friendly. Portion sizes are big -makes for good value for money
My husband and I had a delightful dinner at the deli store. Service was great and the manager was very attentive.
Burgers excellent. Steak tender. Service good. Menu to satisfy most. Ingredients fresh. Ribs very nice.
Although the menu is wide ranging, the presentation of dishes left much to be desired. Give the price range this is certainly not value for money. I was really disappointed. My own choice of schnitzel was more reminiscent of aged shoe-leather than an eatable meal.
