We really enjoy our food and service at ‘The Eatalian’. Helpful staff and owner with recommendations. We had a very nice dinner with wine, appetizer, and main dishes. Everything was perfect. Staff helped use get a uber back to our apartment. We also used Uber...eats for a dinner.More

We went to the Eatalian on a Saturday for lunch, and were quickly seated and presented with our menus and wine list - a nice selection and several craft beers. We chose a bottle of red wine and ordered 3 different pizzas. They were delicious...- simultaneously crispy and juicy, just the way we like them. Only one size is served, but it felt like the right size to us. Good service tooMore

The highlight of my first visit were the fresh truffles which were liberally grated over all the dishes including the desert! Our host had pre-selected the menu: Sea Bass Carpaccio, Ravioli, Rib Eye Steak, Truffle Ice Cream and Profiteroles. Excellent. Service impecable. They sell freshly...imported truffles both black and white which are sold by weight. I returned a week later with a friend for lunch. Had a steak with truffle oil. Still excellent but not comparable to using grated fresh truffles.More

Relaxed, friendly Italian restaurant serving very good food. Friendly service, delicious pasta and the best Affogato ever tasted. Excellent coffee, home roasted. A great evening out with good friends in a comfy environment. Just one suggestion-pay attention to the bathrooms, please!

Ordered a pulled lamb, pepper dew and chutney pizza for R153 through UberEats. The lamb must have been pulled through a sieve! It resembled pumpkin fritters! I can’t comment on the pepper dews or the chutney as they were completely absent. The two orders of...prawn and clam pasta in white wine sauce were both missing clams and white wine! The order arrived quickly, but was nonetheless as cold as a week old cadaver. Never again!More

Truly a spectacular experience. Our waiter, Jerry, was so sweet and attentive. The lasagna was truly spectacular. My lady said her gluten free bolognaise is the best in Johannesburg. Kudos for a perfect night out.

First time visit to this venue and if we lived in Johannesburg we would definitely come again. Fabio, owner/manager with his brother, was welcoming, informative and attentive - as was Marco when he managed to get away from the kitchen. Coming from Australia we found...the pricing to be very reasonable and represented good value. We started with a board for 4 of the Antipasto Mitso which was a tasty appetiser. Between the 4 of us we had a couple of seafood pastas, a pollo al porcini & a pollo involtini de spinaci, all of which were delicious, rounded off with creme brulee - which was made to perfection. The wait staff were pleasant & the whole evening was just very 'easy'. Not sure about wheel chair access as we used only one of two entrancesMore
