We've eaten here a few times and fish is always fresh and well cooked. Not the cheapest fish restaurant but generous portions, consistent quality and great service.

We had lunch and the fish was fresh and well prepared. Generally a good experience although we found the wine-by-the-glass to be exorbitantly expensive. Paying R174 for 3 glasses of wine is a total rip-off.

Fried haloumi cheese very good starter. Wide range local brew beers. Fish is consistently good. Excellent service.

We always have a good meal here with the fresh line fish being the tastiest around our area, Sandton etc. The prawns are processed and small, and not up to standard! The Sushi is great!!! The managers really take one for a fool, they say hi as if they long lost friends, but really don't do much!! The general service... More

Our waitron rattled off the specials and because I'm very fond of sea bass I ordered it from the specials menu. It was a very large portion, enough for 2 people, and at R280 a portion, was wasted on me because I took it home and never bothered to finish it. The wine by the glass that I ordered was... More

The fishmonger in Nicolway is a very safe bet if you like fish and are happy with the very average look, feel, presentation and service, and you are prepared to pay a slightly excessive price for it purely because of its trendy location. Having eaten at this restaurant many times, and keep going back I have no reason to complain... More

Excellent restaurant - superb food, very fresh fish was had - lightly curried Kingklip / oysters / prawns and sole - three of us were dining I hasten to add. I did not consume all these dishes. Staff were very attentive and although attached to a shopping mall (small) and overlooking the general car park - this does and did... More

Three times I have picked up the menu but end up ordering the same thing: Seafood Paella with a side order of onion rings. The Nicolway Centre has some nice stores which allows you to combine a shopping trip with a nice sit-down lunch offering consistently good food.
