Food is great, waiters pay attention and always ready to recommend something better than what you have ordered but I got disappointed at the end when the manager sent one of the waiters to ask if we were done eating so we can pay and...open a table for other people... Very disappointed.More

We took 3 course dinner, food was really good and portions were generous I would recommend to try this course dinner, try drinks outside before heading for dinner

Springbok carpaccio was overpowered by parmesan cheese, red plate did not contrast and create interest Eisbein was dry and served with a rather distasteful curry cabbage Steak was perfectly done, but roast veg was just horrible Salad was drenched in sauce, and olives are clearly...the cheapest (i.e. those that still have the chemical taste) Mushroom sauce tasted as though it had sugar in? Was pleasantly surprised by Fortis, they had a very high standard of service. The food was on par with fine dining if not above that. The in evening entertainment was great with the opera singer performing. Special mention to Mark who was a great host...and made sure we were well taken care off. Keep up the good work. RegardsMore

The atmosphere was great however I didn’t enjoy the food at all. We had lamb which was dry and had very little to no flavour.

Starters, main course and dessert was amazing. Our waiter, Wilson, made our first dining experience there unforgettable. We will definitely go back and hope to see Wilson's friendly face again ☺

Very disappointed after previously enjoying dining out at the new restaurant. Inconsistent, excellent one day and very poor the next. The problem is you pay good money every time. I guess the chef had a bad night. So few options in Pretoria, now I have...one less. We had our anniversary dinner at the restaurant on 10 Sep 2021. The restaurant was extremely noisy, with no background music My husband sirloin had more tendon than meat, and my daughter's ribs was undercooked. I had the prawns which was very lovely. Bread served...before dinner was amazing with the herb butter. The chef should just be more attentive to the quality of food going out of the kitchen. Will not revisit.More

As always, family has been been following Fortunato and his father from Ritrovo, Biccs, to Forti Bar & Grill ..to Forti Too! The fantastic food and wine, the atmosphere, the hospitality and genuine love and passion for what him and his team does is unmatched!

The location is great and the waiters are friendly but the only good thing about the menu is that it makes you time travel , back to the 90’s ! Really disappointing!More

We went there for an evening dinner - and was first stunned by the beautiful location. Then there was the most friendly service you can imagine - followed by wonderful food. I Booked via Tripadvisor a tabel for our 12 anniversary at Forti and after going through a lot of restaurants and their reviews I decided on Forti. Not because of the good reviews but the replies that Forti gave for good or bad reviews. Let’s...be honest, any chef worth his weight in gold will take the good and the bad reviews of his restaurant and appreciate the review or be brutally honest. I will rather go to a restaurant were the chef is honest and will stand by the dishes that he puts in front of his patrons and knows that every dish is made almost to perfection.
