Ordered food through uber eats as it was advertised as buy 1 get 1 free but when order went through and money taken there was only 1 order and not 2. Phoned the restaurant and they would not give the managers phone number or email...address.uber eats were no help what so ever and the restaurant tell lies. Stay away as customer service is terrible.More

We were pleasantly surprised by what this small establishment had to offer. A wide variety on the menu and all seemed to be available. The waiter was not well-trained and a bit slow, but the taste and quality of the food were exceptional. With only...a blower, the venue became too hot on a summers day. Good value for money.More

The destination for supper tonight was Spice Kitchen. Planned to go there a few months ago, but only had the opportunity to go there tonight. When we got there, we were shown to a vacant table and our waitress brought us something to snack on...while we waited for our drinks. For mains, we opted for Chicken Tikka Masala, Chicken Korma, Butter Chicken and Tandoor Chicken Tikka pieces. Although the curries comes with rice, we ordered naan bread as well. We wanted to order lamb dishes, but unfortunately they were sold out. I was quite impressed with the aroma and flavours of the food. Tasty and tender chicken! Finished off with desserts (pistachio & litchi ice cream and a serving of mango something ice cream). All round good experience and will be back for more!More

I normally enjoy going to this place, but my visit tonight for dinner was a bit disappointing to be honest. The amount of poppadoms they serve as a welcome starter has seriously diminished over the months. A tiny bit arrived for me and a friend...to share. The mains were pretty nice, but the service wasn't great at all. I'm not sure where the owners are but someone far friendlier needs to run that place if the is to survive, and not left to those two women that I met tonight. The service does need a pep-up. Overall, not a terrible time, it just used to be a bit better.More

I have been there twice, and order take away dinner from them. The people are excellent, but there are certain expectations that come with Indian food. Unfortunately they were not able to reach them. First is taste, the curries have the familair textures, but very...bland and with some spice, the rice for the two occasions was not cooked. However, I think they do need to invest a little more, as the image they try to transmit seems that of fine dining, but the food is not at that same page.More

so disappointed in both meals ordered. Food very dry and overcooked and not what I expected it would be. The Tandoori whole chicken was not a whole chicken but 4 pieces and the Tamdoori lam tjops where paper thin and tasted if spices had not...been cooked through. The Naan bread was however very niceMore

This was a huge disappointment. We went on the strength of the reviews but clearly people have not eaten good Indian cuisine. The curries are poor. You cannot add heat & expect a curry to be full of flavour. The only starter that was tasty...was the calamari (not authentic Indian) If an Indian restaurant cannot make a Samoosa or decent Naan bread there is a problem. The service was shocking with a waitress that had clearly not been trained. The manager never acknowledged us - a table of 7. No ambience either. At 21h30 staff standing around waiting for us to leave. We will most certainly not returnMore

I had a hankering for some good North Indian curry and Spice hit the spot. Their plump pocket potato samoosa's were terrific and the butter chicken was great. A little pricy but the portions are big so had some left over for lunch the next...day. Definitely Recommend!More

Really tasty Indian cuisine, freshly prepared and attractively presented. Moderately priced. The waiter was superb. Very attentive and happy to serve us. We had the Paneer starter and the Jal-Frezi lamb curry that was absolutely delicious! (The only gripe with the lamb dish was that...the lamb portion itself could have been a tad more in terms of quantity). We also ordered chilli-naan bread to share. So good! The beer was cold too! :) The complimentary snacks with the various chutneys and sauces they offer upon arrival at the table was also enjoyed. Very tasty indeed! Nice ambience, clean. Ample safe parking. All in all, an excellent restaurant! Recommended!More

A mid week lunch with friends. You get a basket of “dough strips fried in oil” with dip sauces to nibble on. We could have eaten another basket full! For main courses the choice was:- My wife a Chicken Roti Roll at R72.00 – half...was all she could manage, the other half went home, her comment – excellent Plus a bottle of still water R14.50 The other wife had a Navrattan Korma at R85.00 which looked, tasted and smelt ‘just more & more!’ With that she also had Aloo Paratha R29.00 (looks similar to Roti) and Poppadums R28.00 which we shared. The gents had Chicken Bhuna R92.00 and Chicken Kadai R92.00 excellent choices. The portions are generous. You can order the amount of heat for the dish, we tend to stick to mild/standard, just warm enough without killing the taste buds. A bottle of Porcupine Ridge Sav/B R120.00 went down well. This was the second visit, and most certainly not the last.More
