Chef Roberto and his team have been serving outstanding dishes consistently for many years that we have been visiting this restaurant.
Their sous vide prepared oxtail and lamb shank is the best I have ever had. The flavours of each dish just blend together to create unforgetable dishes. I am not even mentioning the filet!
Rob's freshly grilled salmon is simply…amazing - not always on the menu but worth ordering when available.
Bonny, Blessing, Keith and the kitchen staff look after one well. This restaurant is worth visiting as can be seen from the regular diners that keep on comming back for more. Well worth a visit!

Operating a restaurant under Covid regulations and loadshedding can be trickey. Bonny and his team continue to do an outstanding job.
Favourates like lamb shank, oxtail, filet steak and prawns are all outstanding.
This restaurant must be one of the best restaurants to visit in Pretoria. The many embassy staff you see at Lepis Dore can't be wrong.
Prices are very reasonable and the service good and efficient. You won't be disappointed.

This restaurant moved to 19 Hazelwood st Pretoria. New premises are stunning! Food even better! Larger premises, same staff and owner.

This restaurant is one of Pretoria's hidden gems. Lepis Dore's signature dishes are the AMAZING oxtail, lamb shank, filet and salmon (not always available). Chef Roberto's new filet with whiskey was, I think, one of the best filet's I have ever had. Absolutely Michelin star magic!
The rest of our party had Rob's amazing oxtail and crispy prawns and ended it with his fabulous chocolate cake and Italian Grappa. Pure bliss.
This restaurant is only open for breakfast and lunch 7 days a week and well worth a journey. But remember, good food takes time to prepare, if you are in a hurry, rather stop at KFC.

This wonderful restaurant serves consistently outstanding food. Rob and his team do a brilliant job - be it breakfast, brunch or lunch. For breakfast the Blackstone eggs are and explosion of tastes in your mouth and for lunch the fresh salmon (when available); filet, oxtail, prawns and salads with home made dressing is a treat.
My personal favorite? The sous vide 'fall off the bone' lamb shank and oxtail. Bonnie (head waiter), Blessing and Keith as well as Primrose (never trust a thin chef) in the kitchen and her girls do an outstanding job.
You will not be disappointed.

Always enjoy a visit to Lepis Dore. The service is friendly even when the power is out! The owner is lovely! You have to try the Pan ou chocolate!!! Certainly worth a visit.

Sir,
We ordered French Toast with cheese, Alma bacon and honey. We did not get Alma beacon but plain ordanary bacon and we were given syrup mixed with barely discernable honey. Why a menu if it does not reflect what you give to the patrons? You will not see us again!

This restaurant serves the very best lamb shank I have ever tasted. Prepared for 24 hours it just drops off the bone when you dish it up - simply brilliant! Moist and done to perfection. Whether you try the oxtail, the filet or the shank, you will not be disappointed at this gem of a restaurant.

We have been going here for lunch for a few years now and the service is fantastic and the food absolutely great. Great wines as well. There is always a menu with specials which are always interesting and delicious.

Joined friends here for breakfast and wasn’t disappointed.
The restaurant styles itself as french but the food isn’t really french. Never mind, as the egg dishes are great.
Our eggs were poached to perfection and everyone enjoyed their breakfasts.
It’s a pity that it’s overlooking a parking lot and sharing space with a decor shop, but you can’t win them all.
Coffee is average.
Recommended.

This French Bistro / coffe shop serves the best food in Pretoria. Fresh, innovative dishes with the tastes that explode in your mouth.
A week ago we had a family celebration with superb lamb shanks (pre ordered), sole and filets…done to perfection!
This time my wife had a special salad and I had the salmon burger (without the buns). I have never tasted such an outstanding burger. The service is always friendly and the coffee and deserts top quality. You will not be disappointed.
