How is Salsa Mexican Restaurant & Tequilaria rated?

Unfortunately I'm at an age where I have to stick to the same drink all night, if I mix drinks, I will seriously be in trouble. I selected a cocktail that scared me when I read the description however when I tasted it, it blew...my mind. I had to stick to it. It was a difficult choice as the menu had a wide variety of Cocktails some of which are unique to Salsa.More

Nice atmosphere, lack of flavour

The decor and atmosphere are really nice, but the food itself lacks in flavour. Mexican cuisine has to be spicy but that doesn't mean only chilly. I couldn't see the soul of the authentic Mexican cuisine in the food.

Great mexican food

Will be going back here, need to try everything on their menu... Food is nice and fresh. One critic is that their menu is a little cumbersome.

Tasty Tex Mex Food but incredibly noisy

We have had a few good meals here, the food has been good and fresh. The accoustics are terrible the noise painfull, the staff seem to be deaf?

Viby Place with delicious treats

The atmosphere at Salsa is always viby and 'loud' exciting. Waitrons are very friendly and efficient. perfect venue for a party night or birthday. Expect excitement

Birthday celebration

First time at Salsa restaurant and would highly recommend. 10 people celebrating a birthday which the staff went over the top to make special. Food was excellent, service was superb, management checked a couple of times on how every thing was. Plenty of different selections...on menu or make your own burrito, taco, fajita...etc. Prices I would say medium high, but well worth it. Would definitely go back.More

A stunning Mexican food surprisin in South Africa

As world travelers over the past over six years, we've been longing for Mexican food similar to what we enjoyed years ago in the USA. What a delightful surprise at lunch today for 10 of us when we ordered and dined upon some of the...best Mexican food, we've had anywhere in the world. From the clever menu where one writes their name and ticks off their preferred items; to the authentic décor; excellent service; a varied drink menu and of course, outstanding food. Add the fact that owner Tony made us feel so welcomed, we couldn't have had a better experience. This is a must do visit for folks in Pretoria and Johannesburg or those passing through!More

Yum

The menu was a similar style to rocomamas where you get a pen and mark off your order. Great cocktail selection, esp great in this heat. Thw something peachy sangria cocktail is worth a return visit. Hate the paper straws but love the oceans... Taco's...were yum. Nice family vibe this arvi and we all enjoyed. They have mild and non spicey options available. Tuesday is quiz nights.More

Real Mexican Experience

Awesome restaurant to try out. Definitely a must if you looking for something different. Real Mexican tastes and large variety to chose from. Large beverage menu of alcoholic and virgin cocktails. Will be back a to try out the other menu items and flavoured tequila...:)More
