Lucky Bread is one of a handful of cafe / bakeries that get Coffee right. It’s not my favorite- I’m not the worlds biggest TriBeCa fan - but it’s a million times better than anything served up by Lavazza, Illy or the Mugg & Bean...types. The sandwiches are great. We’ve tried them all over the last year or so. Lastly, and absolutely worth a mention, is their flourless coconut cake. It is truly remarkable. Unlike any coconut cake we’ve tasted anywhere. Great coffee and good menu with fresh options. Ideal stop over for lunch in between shopping. The staff are friendly and well informed about the menu options and also eager to please. Salads are fresh and crispy and the sandwiches are delicious and well presented.

Met up with a friend for breakfast this morning and by luck we ended up at Lucky Bread. We were in for a treat. Their food was simple but delicious! As their name indicate they are bread artisans and their bread is worth a bite....To top it off, the staff was friendly and helpful. One of my go to’s when at mall of Africa and need to work. Coffee is great, as well as a great menu, with many a delicious treat. Staff are always friendly and accommodating. Great spot.

Good variety of baked goods/pastries. The cafe is completely open and is situated in a nice spot for a break from shopping and some people watching.
