Visited Not Bread Alone in their new premises. Great place to meet - under the trees in a garden setting. Great coffee and excellent pastries as expected. Might become my favourite place for coffee.

Recently introduced and visited twice now, and happy both times. Feels like an old style Cape venue. Breads and cakes are exceptional. I had a terrific breakfast both times. Has a family feel. Parking on premises often busy, but if full, recommend you park opposite...the restaurant in the shopping centre car park. If you get an outside table on a nice day, even better. Definitely worth a try.More

The newly opened bakery in Blackheath was such a disappointment! We had to ask for a waiter to serve us after a 10 minute wait.Only to be told that they had sold out of pies(which they are known for),but we can have pizza. There was...not much to buy in the shop either.Needless to say we left hungry, never to return.More

👏best👏baked👏goods👏ever👏 We had a fresh, rich cream donut and a sugar-coated chocolate churro. It was amazing. I would definitely recommend visiting this small but very popular bakery.

We have found a new favourite bakery. Their pies are delicious with a generous amount of meat. Their pastries are also very good.

I visited the bakery with my family. Was breathtaken by the beautiful pastries, pies, breads and cakes. Bought delicious looking eats at R200. Pastry, croissants and pies, heavy and inedible, not light and airy like what we are used to. Not everyone's cup of tea!...Had to be thrown out. What a waste!More

The quiche is a winner and delicious. A nice touch is the ice cold flavored water on a hot summers day. The bakery side is always busy and some of the cakes are very nice. The service is not always up to scratch.

Their fresh pies are great. They have plenty of meat (or whatever there should be in the pie) inside and the pies are always fresh and tasty and filling! Worth going there for breakfast before you buy a few pies for the family

Had breakfast with the bestie, she had the omelet with mushrooms and mozzarella and I had the croissant with jam and cheese. Exceptionally well priced and food was delicious.

We went for brunch and had lovely quiche and pie -highly recommended. The trimmings on the plate was a bit skimpy. The breads and cakes at this bakery are very inviting. We thoroughly enjoyed the red velvet cheese cake, Portuguese milk tarts and baked cheesecake...that we took home. The blondy was not to my friend’s taste. This little bakery/coffee shop is always busy and tables usually full but you never wait long. The service is friendly but not so quick. Parking can be full at times like mid-morning on a Saturday.More
