Must do the wok beef! Great service. Reasonably priced. Generous portions. Would go back. Most dishes have medium and spicy. Not much mild. Avg price for 2 with wine and starter 700R

Unfortunately we didn't have chance to look around as there was a heavy downpour so we went into this restaurant. The menu read well and the waiter was very pleasant and we ordered a spinach cone which you added ingredients and poured over a sauce....More

I ordered Garlic and Black Pepper Prawns with egg fried rice for an Uber Eats delivery today. The mean was a complete disappointment!! The egg fried rice had big chunks of egg in it, and the garlic and black pepper sauce was tasteless!! So sad...More

Really good atmosphere. Fantastic Thai food and well priced for both food and drinks. As a bonus you can get a head and shoulder massage at the table.

My husband & I love Thailand & Thai food. We recently went to Thailand on holiday and ate authentic Thai food to our heart’s content. So while visiting Sandton we went to Wangthai for dinner after craving Thai. The flavours are spot on. We ordered...More

Description
The flagship of the Thai Africa Group is undoubtedly Wangthai Sandton which overlooks the prestigious Nelson Mandela Square. The most authentic Thai restaurant outside of Thailand. Wangthai Sandtonalso serves the DIY dining experience: sensational Thai Suki Hot Pot. A culinary concept which dates back over 1 000 years in Asian history, Thai Suki Hot Pot today - continues to tantalise the pallet and tease the senses with its fragrant oriental flavours. Best enjoyed as a group affair; the Thai Suki Hot Pot sees an aromatic broth, brimming with flavourful Eastern ingredients, placed in a pot, and atop an induction stove - within the centre of the table. This simmers away throughout the evening, while guests gentle poach their favourite selection of fresh ingredients. There is very little effort involved, other than to indulge, at leisure, in the refreshingly light tastes of Thailand. Wangthai, invites both businessmen and women, as well as the social sect, to sample this ancient cooking tradition, to which it has added a unique measure of contemporary stylishness.
