Friendly place, great food drinks and cocktails too in the cocktail lounge😋. Highly recommended food & drinks and nice calm ambient atmosphere in stylish setting.

My visit to Baira Alta was exceptional. The service was good and the food was divine. I had the king prawns which was grilled on an open flame with their special peri peri sauce. The prawns were huge and I loved it. The other meal...is the chicken and prawn combo. That is a chicken breast with prawns without the shell and the special peri peri sauce. You can also choose not to have the peri peri sauce. Always cooked to perfection.More

Surly waiters. Had to move tables after being seated . My friends agree not to ever come here again.

The door was excellent. Our party of 8 thoroughly enjoyed their meals. Curry, steak and chicken. Generous portions and favourable sauces. Carpaccio was the best starter by far. Desserts were a disappointment. Pity the meringue was store bought and pavlova was dull. Molotov was not...tasty. Will definitely go back.More

Had an average experience. Really great venue but can’t rate the food positively at all. If you want a great meal this is not the place to go. All the food no matter what dish you order tastes like margarine or marvello. We had steak,...Espetadas, prawns, chicken livers etc and the plating, crockery and Flavours were all exactly the same! Boring boring boring! A total sad Portugese experience, I am so sad that I recommended this venue to my guests, definitely won’t do so again.More

So we ended up here by default, and what a surprise. My wife and I both had the fillet steak, which was excellent, I had the Madagascar Pepper which complemented my meal very well, fresh french fries for a change. Only slightly negative, no-one to...greet you upon coming in, had to go and find someone to seat us, however, I suspect they had unusual volumes for a Monday night, will definitely go back, and refer them.More

Food was excellent & delicious, presentation was good.We did have an issue with the fish that was served however it replaced with good one.Prawns & calamari was perfectly prepared.Deserts are delicious. Good do with more waiters though as we were 9 served by one waiter...that appeared to be anxious with the orders.More

We were placed inside the restaurant and although the decor (black plastered walls) and table settings are a little on the dodgy side, the food and service was great. We were served by Trust, who couldn’t be friendlier! Starters included chourizo, chicken livers and calamari...- all delicious and tasty, served with lovely fresh ciabatta style bread to mop up the delicious sauces. Mains - half chicken, Portuguese rice and chargrilled prawns - again, really well prepared and delicious. Fair wine selection. Recommended.More

My husband and I had a lovely meal on Saturday evening, both enjoying our bacalhau very much. The service was good too.

We were recomended to the restaurant the by hotel. They suggested the baby chicken. Large establishment within the casino complex. Plastic table cloths and only one choice of red/white wine by the glass. The baby chickens were very disappointing, one can order half or a...whole. Peri-peri sauce was enjoyable, but the lemon and herb chicken was bland and dry.More
