Beautiful food. Stunning environments. Engagingly delivered. tashas began with one store in Atholl, Johannesburg. Now we have locations across SOuth Africa and in the UAE. Each tashas is a little bit the same and a little bit different making each store unique in its offering as well as the design.

What a way to boost your mood. Started with an absolutely divine Cortada. Strong and full of crema. Then salivated over the menu for a good 20 minutes. Decided on the perfectly spiced chicken fillet on brown rice with red onion, cucumber and olives, and a yum yoghurt dressing. Healthy, yet deliriously delicious. My cherry granita was divine and the chocolate brownie, bitter sweet and unadulterated was the perfect end to a blissful escape concluded by a perdect cappuccino.

Go for the Mojitos

We came late for lunch, around 1:30pm. It was busy but we were seated in a nice table outside. The wait service was great, we were attended to quickly and they were very friendly. Our drinks came within about 5 mins and our food about 20 mins. The mojitos were amazing! The best I’ve ever had. For food, I ordered the lemon and herb lamb ribs … so gooood! The portion was big and I had to take some home. Would definitely recommend

Great for breakfast or lunch

This lovely outdoor restaurant in the Rosebank mall has a great selection for breakfast or lunch. I chose a fruit and yoghurt concoction and a mango drink and it was excellent. It is very busy but the service is efficient. A great place to stop whilst shopping.

I expected much more. I ordered steak. But no real wow taste. Tasted like normal pan fried steak. The waiter came to the table four times. To take drink order. Take food order. Bring food and drink. Bring bill Someone else took plates and while eating took the tomato sauce etc without asking if its being used. Not once was I asked if we need anything. Or if all was fine. The bill was put on the table without a word. Taste 3 out of 10 Service 1 / 10 Pricing 15/10 Value for money 2/10. Will never return here.

Surprising disappointed but great service.

Initially I was told they’re well closed until I asked the time. With 10 minutes I was server led quite well but my rösti wasn’t … it looked like it was just tossed quickly as they were closing. Had the same dish at Nicolway, it was fantastic. Rösti was burned and rockets, lemon and other ingredients were missing. Waitress made extra effort and provided avo. Great service overall but inconsistent food. Maybe just end of day fatigue but shouldn’t be an excuse. Will stick to Melrise Arch and Nicolway.

Great vibes with great food!

Amazing vibes and great food!! Love this place! Staff was alsp exceptional! They have a large variety of offers on their menu, ranging from healthy to regular meals; bug, small, light and heavy.

Just a shout out to an excellent breakfast experience today. As it’s super cold today, only tables inside available, but manager very efficiently organized a table within a couple of minutes. Food was all excellent and service by Alice was fantastic, friendly and efficient. Thanks so much.

Breakfast but not Lunch

A popular busy spot with a wide selection. I’ve had breakfast here before which was great. Lunch choices were very good although a tad pricey. I had the prawns which were dripping in butter. Too oily for me but each to their own. The side salad was tasty but not special. I’ll stick to breakfast options in future.

Reviews are a bit inconsistent, so it appears that it really depends on WHEM you go and which Tasha's you visit. I was pleased with my lunch, served by an attentive waitstaff. The mood was pleasant and casual. The food was standard, with few options for the vegetarian.

Amazing eaterie. We were on holiday to South Africa. Capetown and Kruger National park. Had a stop over and discovered Tashas in Rosebank. Excellent Food choices on the menu. Wonderful service by the staff. Can’t fault it. A must visit when in Johannesburg. The best thing is about also it’s half the price than the one in London. Have word to the UK Tashas, Rosebank. Then people will visit it more.😄

Great spot for coffee

Came here to catch up with an old business contact over coffee. The coffee is excellent. The service was great and the overall vibe was top notch. Really highly recommended even if just for a basic visit.

Underwhelming Sunday brunch
