The place is located in a beatiful spot with great view. The wine & malt whiskey list are one of the best that i have met. The restaurant is very spacious but huge and in some cases the noise could be annoying. The service was...More

This is definitely one of the best restaurants Johannesburg has to offer and on our lunch visit it more than lived up to its reputation of excellence. From the cocktails and draught beers we enjoyed on the balcony overlooking the northern suburbs to the asparagus,...More

Read about it in the New York Times as a place to dine, so I made a reservation a month in advance and am glad I did. Probably to best meal I had in South Africa. The dishes were diverse, full of flavor and creativity....More

Had a group of 16 from work turn up for an 'early' dinner. If you are travelling from a different time-zone (like Australia), you can have an 'early dinner at 6pm, get out before the big dinner rush. Supposedly they are booked out for weeks/months...More

A happy school dining room experience - lots of people, lots of noise, lots of laughter. I was shocked when I saw how many tables there were but it actually worked very well. The atmosphere was way better than the food.

Marble offers Joburg diners something different – not just a plate of food, but a theatre of experience. Marble celebrates the quintessential South African tradition of cooking on fire – and not just meat, but all types of ingredients cooked on coals – including fish, poultry, vegetables and breads. The wine list has been painstakingly put together – it features 100 of the best local and some international wines. Diners can expect a great night out, with delicious food and top-notch service – and one of the best views of the city.
