Great Durban Food and Service, including fried sardines

We were visiting family who lived nearby and they suggested that we get lunch from the Divas. The place was busy for a Friday so we ordered early. The lamb bunny chow was awesome. The special of the day was fried sardine which a rare find and something which I must have had last over ten years ago. We had to wait so that this speciality was made fresh and this was worth the wait. The service by Diva Junior was also great. All in all an Awesome experience and will definitely go there again

Authentic Indian food

Authentic Indian cuisine. The food is consistently amazing and tastes like proper Durban curry. You can always expect good food. Many specials during the week.

Good food. Small portion sizes. Waited a long time for takeaway on a separate occasion. Tasty but not enough food. A bit oily too.

Having visited TCD's a few weeks after they'd opened, my colleagues and I were overjoyed that there was another Durban-Indian takeaway relatively close by. Upon making the trip there, we were enthralled by the menu; Durban style curries, bunnies, biriyanis etc. This is unfortunately where the good ends. For starters, they don't have a card machine. I am always without cash and I would generally turn around and grab something else but I went and drew cash because I really wanted to try this new curry joint. We had planned to sit down but (as this was our lunch break) because the burgers we'd ordered took fifty five minutes to arrive, we had no choice to take-away. Now the big issue - the burger. A mutton burger that should have been one that rivals Coconut Grove burgers of old but sadly doesn't and isn't worth the money. I'm sure, over time they'll work out the kinks, offer better service, tweak their recipes and (please!) have a card machine but until then, I'd wait.
