What a disappointment. You have to order your food and drinks from the till, very strange. Then you can go sit down. We ordered 2 x cappuccinos and breakfast at 9:08 am, at 9:40 am, still no coffee. So we basically left and cancelled our...orders. This is what happens when you have no owner present and think that your staff is going to care. Guess what they don’t. When we went and asked for the 3rd time what’s taking so long, the guy making the coffee is too busy talking to female waiters. The staff walk around trying to see where the clients have decided to sit down. The whole place is disorganised and to honestly a joke. Won’t be coming back that’s for sure.More

What a lovely little place this is, lots of tables scattered amongst the landscaped garden. The food was delicious and we had plenty of choice from light meals to full dinners. Lovely wide choice of homemade desserts that are all made in the delicatessen next...door. A fabulous range of drinks too.More

Everything you could want in a neighbourhood cafe: delicious food, fast and really friendly service and attention to detail. We have had breakfast here several times. The potato rosti with avo, bacon and egg is hands-down delicious. We’ve never had to wait longer than 10...minutes for food to arrive and it’s always hot and just as we’ve ordered. The coffee is great, waiters and waitresses are attentive and super helpful, and the bathrooms are spotless and freshly painted, with nice soaps and hand lotion. Their bakery next door is also fab- incredible cakes and breads all baked on site daily. You can see the bakers kneading the bread dough while you shop! Try the cheese sticks, they are very moreish. Definitely our favourite place for breakfast in Joburg.More

We were on our way to the airport and stopped in for a brunch. It was pouring with rain but was nice and cosy inside. The waiters were friendly and helpful. The menu was great with interesting dishes. We really enjoyed the variety and the...food was delicious when it arrived. We were pleased with the value for money. Thank you and hope to come by again soon.More

I go to the Landing often, for breakfast or lunch. It's almost always full. Their sandwiches are winners, their breakfasts are awesome. Handsome portions, tasty food, excellent coffee and good service make this a must! Artisinal breads not bad either!

Firstly, the good. The atmosphere, service and coffee are all great! There is enough space between tables to enjoy your own table’s conversation without sharing your neighbour’s. Then, the average..for above average prices, the breakfasts were...average. The poached eggs for two of the breakfasts for...our party of six were not as ordered (medium to hard) but instead came with liquid whites. The Eggs Benedict was OK but not the best Hollandaise. The breads however were very good and fresh. My Emmental and Bacon omelette was a little rubbery but edible. As I said...overall, average.More

A really impressive little coffee shop off the main road through Edenvale, opposite the High School. Good service, great coffee, tasty meals and an interesting selection on the menu. Well done!
