We were on our honeymoon and first time to St Francis, got the feeling that if you are not a local here you are not considered too important. We had heard good reviews of this place but were turned away quite rudely. Not sure I...would want to go back. For any outsiders to the area I would advise to book way in advance to avoid disappointment.More

The setting was beautiful. The price for food absolutely overpriced. Definitely not value for money. To Pay R200 for a bowl of noodles with 6 mini pieces of meat is definitely not value. Neither is paying R460 for a platter supposed to serve 4 but...is actually only enough for 1. You can go to other locales for far less but better size mealsMore

What a view over the canals, a great setting for any mealtime. We had the pleasure of sharing good music, large portions of mezze selections off the menu, imported Greek beer, and a great selection of good wines, whist watching the sun set. Food was...of high standard, the waitresses were friendly and professional, and the venue provided a relaxed environment in which to dine, and linger longer. Possibly not the cheapest meal, but they do offer large portions, and a memorable dining experience.More

The ambience is very nice. The service was very good. The calamari tentacles were the best that I have ever eaten. , the Humus was amazing. For something as simple as Humus to be that good shows great feeling from the Chef.

Following a recommendation by our guest house we visited this modern furnished Greek restaurant for dinner. Right from the start we liked our table in view of the canal where we could enjoy a romantic sundown. The service was very friendly and good tempered. We...ordered several Greek starters, fish and meat. Everything was excellent and cooked to the point.More

My husband and I truly enjoyed dining on the canal at this restaurant. Prior to eating there, the B&B owner arranged a boat trip through the canals at sunset. After our boat docked, we went into the restaurant and were greeted by the owner who...made sure our every desire was met. We has calamari which should not be missed and octopus which was tender and yummy. Baklava and halvah ice cream was sensational. This is a terrific dining option in St. Francis.More

What an amazing vibey restaurant. We had a variety of Tapas as well as the steak. The owner looked exhausted after a very busy season but still came to our table with a smile and a joke. Helped serve the food at every table and...the waitress and waiter on duty where extremely professional and friendly. We even had a clawless sea otto visit us. I highly recommend this restaurant.More
