Came here at around brunch time a few days ago. Pleasantly surprised how cool this place ism the setting is great, well located. Staff are very friendly and on point, and the food is divine. Whether you just want to come for a coffee or for a light lunch this place caters for it all.
Loved the quiche, and my wife enjoyed the butterchicken wrap. The banana peanut butter smoothie was also great

Went for a quaint little Sunday breakfast and had delicious hot chocolate and standard breakfast fare (eggs, bacon, etc). Sitting on the patio was a good choice, especially during Covid times. Service was prompt, the flavors were good, though nothing special. The cherry tomatoes could’ve been cooked a little more (either cook them or don’t, but a little warm doesn’t cut it). The atmosphere is lovely, with a pond of koi greeting you upon arrival. In all, the best part of my meal was the foamy hot chocolate, but it was generally good.

We met up with family who live in PE. The restaurant was their choice and we were blessed with a lovely sunny day. The place is CHARMING - an old home (two homes actually) and we sat outside at a long table. There were a lot of groups of ladies, and some couples, at nearby tables. We ordered a huge variety from the menu and everyone was very happy with their choice. Service was friendly and prompt.

Savagers is a delightful venue with tables under the huge trees providing plenty of shade for the hot summers, however, It took an hour and a half for our food to be brought to us .. once we received our food, it was well presented and very tasty. Scrambled eggs on seeded toast. The flapjacks were rather dry. Cappuccino had plenty of foamed milk. Our waiter gave us good service, it was the food coming out of the kitchen.

Went for lunch with my mom and dad while in PE for a long overdue visit. We had a delicious lunch, the food is plated beautifully and is tasty and elegant. The flatbread is interesting and tasty, the chicken and waffles is crunchy, light and moist with a spicy coleslaw. The cheesecakes are rich and decadent. Our waiter was friendly and efficient, he provided excellent service. I wish I lived closer and could visit more often.

2nd time there for breakfast. Had the Breakfast Rosti again cos the first time it was sooo good. Just something different for brekkie. No bread but everything built on a lovely crispy rosti. A lovely mix of textures and flavours topped with two perfectly soft poached eggs. Today it was equally nyummy
But I have to mention Emanuel our waitron. He was exceptional. As a waitron and such a pleasant gentle wise young man. An asset to Savages without a doubt.
Can highly recommend this spot in Gq. Beautiful setting, great food, excellent staff, safe parking.

As you walk in tranquility sets in. Beautiful little garden with splashes of colour from impatiens and the koi in the fountain. The garden tables were full and we settled in to the luxury inside.
Service was prompt, professional, and friendly. The spicy Benedict and the Victorian royals Benedict were perfectly prepared and delicious. The croque Madame was a little unconventional but still delicious.
Well worth the visit

Always enjoy popping into Savages for Coffee and a snack. Staff friendly and attentive and quality of the food is good. Can never stop myself when I leave from buying something from their outside shop.
Best to visit when weather is good and one can sit outside. Inside quiet limited seating.
Do yourself a favour and pop in.

Our unexpected visit to Savages was absolutely amazing. A quick day trip to PE and Savages was recommended to us by a local Dr. The setting is great, the food is magnificent and pleasantly affordable. Beer battered hake on a bed of mashed peas. The mashed peas were the star of the plate! The fish was fresh and super tasty! The homemade falafel burger was also superb. One of the best side salads we’ve ever seen on a plate. So much attention to detail. One of our best restaurant experiences ever. We come from Stellenbosch and no restaurant in Stellenbosch can beat our experience at Savages yesterday. Well worth a visit!

The three of us spent a very enjoyable hour or two sitting outside under a shady tree with our pet Staffordshire Bull Terrier. She was given a few biscuits and a bowl of water but probably would have preferred our meals!
Our breakfasts were very tasty and our knowledgeable waiter was very friendly.
